Afemale patron in a Tennessee bar punched a retired police officer in the face Wednesday night after she was triggered by his MAGA-style birthday hat.
Daniel Sprague was at The Stage bar in Nashville celebrating his 50th birthday at the time, and was wearing a red cap that read “Make Fifty Great Again.”
“People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little word play on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday,” Sprague told News4.
Unfortunately, the sight of the red cap spurred one unhinged woman to charge like an angry bull seeing a red cape.
“At one point,” Sprague said, “A female came up from behind me, spun me around, and punched me in the face and then grabbed my hat off my head and was just yelling, ‘How dare you!’”
The blow was hard enough to draw blood.

He said he filed a police report.
“‘Happy birthday’ would be nice, and not a punch in the face!” Sprague told reporters.
This attack comes mere days after a Florida man plowed his van into a GOP voter registration tent, destroying it, and narrowly missing six Republican volunteers. Also over the weekend, a knife-wielding man was arrested outside of the White House on Saturday after he threatened to kill the president. Additionally, a viral video last week showed an crazed individual at Arizona State University screaming violent threats against Republicans.

They scream about their Noble Victimhood but are by far the most likely to victimize others.
The tout their tolerance, but slam the auditorium doors on colleges to anyone even slightly conservative.
They’re hypocrites, liars and thieves. I swear, if liberals stopped killing one another, our murder rate would all but completely disappear.
I sincerely hope this man responded in kind and knocked this wretch’s teeth down her throat.
Only through retaliation will we be safe amongst these lunatics.
I find it disturbing that in all of these continuing reports of assaults on conservatives by OBVIOUSLY deranged leftists , that there is no mention of the assaulted individual putting up any kind of personal defense. Does the attacker just hit and run? Most of the people I know would lay the attacker out on the floor. It’s time to start standing up to these deranged thugs and start giving them back what they deserve.
I wonder about who and what the woman was, but I guess that’s asking to much.
This woman should be in jail! There is no excuse for her attack on the gentleman wearing the red hat.
I find it interesting that a hat could trigger such an attack. And its been happening all over the country. I wonder if there is a subliminal message that has being released by the media that triggers the brain? In this day of age nothing would surprise me. Head up!
Thing like this should be treated like what they are, a hate crime. Race is not the only thing that is a hate crime. NOT treating attacks like this the same way is a double standard.
