Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN-05) told a crowd gathered for a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation forum that God “expects” them to vote a certain way.
“Make sure you’re voting. Make sure you understand why you’re voting, and make sure you know who you are voting for,” Omar told the audience. “Yes, God has obligations to all of us, but God expects us to do the righteous work and so God does not expect you to vote for people who will ultimately hurt you and other humans around you.”

The comments were made during a panel at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference. The event took place in Washington, D.C. from September 11-15.
“During the action-packed #CBCweek we partnered with local experts and community advocates to host a conversation on the plight of black immigrants and how we can continue to center the voice of the marginalized while we’re working toward comprehensive reform,” Omar wrote on Twitter about the forum.

Omar has stepped up her attacks on President Donald Trump in recent days, telling reporters that it’s not a matter of “if” Trump will be impeached, but when.
On CNN Monday night, Omar suggested that Trump lacks the ability to successfully navigate the escalating tensions with Iran.
“Congress has the constitutional right to declare war. The President doesn’t have it. The secretary of state doesn’t have it and Saudi Arabia certainly doesn’t have it,” she said. “I think we need to make sure that the American people understand that this administration—that lies about weather maps or crowd sizes—cannot be trusted to give us the full information we need to be able to make a decision whether we should be going to war or not with Iran.”

One cannot be surprised at the transparent lying considering the source.
Isn’t it funny how a group calling itself the “Congressional Black Caucus” can scream about racism without anyone talking about hypocrisy?
