Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released a statement on Tuesday criticizing President Joe Biden for his recent speech on “voting rights” in Philadelphia.
“Biden’s fear-mongering that Republicans are trying to take over state elections in defiance of the will of the voters is ridiculous slander. What he calls voter ‘suppression’ and ‘subversion’ is really just commonsense voting integrity measures,” Ortiz said of the speech.
President Biden delivered the speech on Tuesday, and he criticized Republican-led state legislatures throughout the country for “making it harder to vote.” Biden claimed that the new laws are a “21st century Jim Crow assault.”
Ortiz claimed that Biden’s speech was merely a political stunt — an attempt to gain stronger support for a far-left Democratic plan that allows the federal government to control elections.
“Biden is lying about voting subversion to drum up support for HR 1, which would amount to a federal takeover of election law to benefit Democrats. Voters are smart enough to look past Biden’s claim that voting integrity measures are a ‘threat to free and fair elections’ and see the truth: Democrats want no election accountability to make it easier for activists to harvest ballots and commit fraud to win elections,” he continued.
Further, Ortiz explained that Biden over-stated the significance of new election laws throughout the country.
“That’s classic projection; Biden’s clearly the one with no shame, calling Republicans racist in a desperate attempt to maintain political power,” he argued in the statement.
