Country singer and songwriter Keith Urban is set to host next week’s live New Year’s Eve five-hour event in Nashville airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.
This year’s Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will feature more than 40 back-to-back performances, the famed red Music Note drop at midnight, and a 90-second fireworks display to ring in the new year.
The event will feature special musical performances by country stars Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Parker McCollum, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Brittney Spencer, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, Lainey Wilson, and others.
Urban, who will also perform at the live event, will host alongside Rachel Smith from Entertainment Tonight.
This year’s event will be the 16th annual New Year’s Eve concert in Nashville and the eighth year of it being held at Bicentennial Park.
Gates open for the event on Tuesday, December 31 at 5:00 p.m. and Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell will welcome the crowd at approximately 5:55 p.m.
There will be food vendors, heated tents, phone charging stations and bag lockers, photo ops and selfie stations, merchandise trailers, and ATMs available for attendees inside the event perimeter.
There will be a clear bag policy in place for the event. Clear bags that are no larger than 12″ by 12″ by 6″ and non-transparent wallets and cases no larger than 4.5″ by 6.5″ are permitted inside the event perimeters.
The live event will begin airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ at 7:00 p.m.
In years past, Nashville’s live New Year’s event has generated as much as $39 million in direct visitor spending and attendance of more than 200,000 with more than half being local residents, according to the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp.
