Three Texas Democrat State Legislators Who Fled to DC to Avoid Quorum Test Positive for COVID-19

Texas Democrats Test Positive for COVID

After more than 50 Texas Democrats fled the state to avoid a special legislative session, three of the lawmakers tested positive for COVID-19.

After one member tested positive for the virus on Friday, two more lawmakers received additional positive test results on Saturday.

“This is a sober reminder that COVID is still with us, and though vaccinations offer tremendous protection, we still must take necessary precautions. We are in touch with public health experts in Texas to provide additional guidance. Our caucus will follow all recommendations from public health experts as we continue our work,” said chairman Chris Turner (D-Grand Prairie) announcing the positive test.

While Turner said that “we still must take necessary precautions,” many on social media pointed out the hypocrisy of the group of lawmakers that flew on a private plane to Washington D.C. — with no member wearing a mask as current federal laws require passengers on commercial flights.

“Rules for thee but not for me strikes the Democrats, again. Hey, @TSA, if these Democrat lawmakers are allowed to fly without masks, so should the American people. Follow the science, not the political science,” tweeted Republican Rep. Byron Donalds in response to the photo.

“Does this mean we can stop wearing masks on planes? Or is that rule just waived for Democrats on private planes?” questioned Congressman Greg Steube.

The Democratic state lawmakers are in the nation’s capital to advocate for a sweeping overhaul of elections within the United States. The “For the People Act” would alter the country’s election system and provide a dramatic expansion of the federal government’s role.

While advocating for the change, the group has met with many leaders, including Vice President Kamala Harris, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Joe Manchin, and other elected officials.

What about this, since a large number of those with the new covid cases are those who have been vaccinated, and “specialist” are claiming it’s the new delta variant, one has to wonder if the vaccine the government wants the country to take is a vaccine at all. Maybe it’s a weapon instead. Could the vaccine possibly be generating the DV.? If the virus started in a lab from china, likely with the help of the liberals, what makes one think that the vaccine could not be the grand finale of destroying this country? I have a hard time believing that an administration whom acts so interested in “saving lives” while endorsing the deaths of millions of unborn babies truly has the best interest of the people.

Masks do not prevent the spread of COVID. Maybe even those bozos realize that. The three who tested positive probably have had all the COVID jabs , too. That’s because the jabs don’t work either. The whole scamdemic , from the virus that was let out of a lab in Wuhan , to the lies about deaths , to the forced lock – downs which have destroyed millons of lives and have destroyed economies of countries all over the world , was created and is being perpetuated by a very few individuals who are pouring huge amounts of money into it , AND into the Democratic party to put their puppets in offices. Those individuals could not care less about public safety , a global climate crisis , equity , or any of that other bullsh* t. Their only interests are power , and money. The girls on the plane think they are actually making a difference.
