PALM BEACH, Florida – President Donald J. Trump took center stage at Tuesday’s premiere of the Citizens United-produced film “Rigged: The Zuckerberg-Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump’ at the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort here.
“Thank you very much, everyone. I appreciate it, and I really look forward. I saw the trailer, and it was really good. I said that: ‘David, this is very important because we have to have free and fair elections, and we have to have borders, or we don’t have a country.’”
Trump told the crowd, like them, he was eager to see the Citizens United documentary himself.
“Yeah. I really liked a lot of movies over the course of my life. ‘Citizen Kane’ was excellent. ‘Gone With the Wind’ was excellent. ‘Titanic’ was excellent, but this is the one I most look forward to seeing,” he said.
In his own remarks, David Bossie, the president of Citizens United, said he was thrilled to have Trump attend the movie debut at his fabled resort.
“This is a dream come true for me, and for Citizens United, to be able to produce this important film and premiere here at Mar-a-Lago, such an amazing place,” Bossie said.
“President is an amazing and gracious host, and I want to thank him for this spectacular evening,” he said.
“Rigged” is a Jason Meath-directed documentary that collects into a compelling narrative the actions by Zuckerberg that tilted the election against Trump, first by hiring one of President Barack H. Obama Jr.’s political gurus, David Plouffe.
Plouffe, the author of the book “The Citizen’s Guide to Beating Donald Trump,” became the head of policy and strategist-in-residence at Zuckerberg’s chief nonprofit, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
In that book, Plouffe said his central thesis is: “At least 65 million Americans are almost certainly committed to voting against Trump. Growing that number by five to 10 million is certainly in our control.”
With Plouffe directing outlays from a pot of money that would reach $400 million to individuals, organizations, and most importantly, government agencies, the Zuckerberg plot against Trump was executed under the guise of supporting the running of elections under COVID-19 conditions.
Elections integrity attorney Christina Bobb was one of the guests invited to attend the premiere and who, as a One America News Network reporter was embedded for weeks at the Maricopa County, Arizona, election audit, said “Rigged” is part of a larger movement across the country to probe what really happened in the 2020 election.
“As far as the information coming out, it is coming out as citizens continue to do their FOIA requests to continue their investigation,” said the Marine combat veteran of Afghanistan.
“Then, on the legislative side, we had a number of states that say they don’t want any Zuckerberg money, she said. “They don’t want any private money.”
Bobb said there is also momentum to get rid of ballot drop boxes.
“Wisconsin said that they don’t want drop boxes and in a number of locations, they are debating allowing drop boxes or not allowing drop boxes,” she said.
Attorney Cleta Mitchell, a member of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and one of the central figures interviewed in the film, told The Star News Network it was important to her personally to participate in the documentary.
“I got involved in the film because I think that what happened in 2020 with this billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his wife giving tax-deductible dollars to influence an election in violation of the Internal Revenue Code is a story that needs to be told,” Mitchell said.
“This movie documents every step of the way, all of the illegal actions that took place that I believe cost President Trump his re-election,” she said.
Mitchell, who worked with the Trump team in the immediate aftermath of the 2020 election, said she saw the signs of trouble election night.
“I was in Montana, and on election night, and when the votes started being withheld on the evening of Nov. 3, and they stopped counting – I promise you. I’ve been doing election law for a very long time. I have never in my life heard of stopping the counting,” she said.
“Then we found out at Georgia; they ran off the observers. They did the same thing in Detroit,” she said. “The law requires that you have observers watching the processing of notes, the ballots, and they stopped counting all over the country, these states. That didn’t happen by accident.”
Mitchell said Zuckerberg used his ostensibly nonpartisan money for partisan purposes.
“I think there was a scheme to do that, but I think the Zuckerbergs’ money that went into targeted states, and not only just targeted states, but targeted cities, targeted counties to drive up Democrat turnout, so that they could overcome the Trump victory and the Trump margin in those key states,” she said.
“I think it changed the outcome of the election, and this film documents that.”
