Former President Donald Trump raised $25 million during his recent fundraiser at the Bitcoin 2024 conference held in Nashville, according to the conference organizer, who also said it was the second-largest sum raised by the former president in any fundraiser over his three presidential campaigns.
David Bailey, the CEO of the Bitcoin Conference and Bitcoin Magazine, confirmed the $25 million fundraising haul for the Trump campaign in a post to the social media platform X.
Bailey wrote, “DJT raised $25m in Nashville. His second highest fundraiser ever across three different presidential campaigns.”
He added that the money came from a combination of cryptocurrency “whales,” or individuals or entities who hold large amounts of Bitcoin or other currencies, and “OGs” who are longtime fixtures of the industry.
Bailey added that Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) “talked [Democrats] into committing mass seppuku,” in apparent references to the senator’s push for the Biden administration to regulate digital currencies and the ritualistic form of suicide historically used by Japanese samurai.
For those of you who didn’t hear it in Trump’s speech, DJT raised $25m in Nashville. His second highest fundraiser ever across three different presidential campaigns. Came from a combo of industry and whales/OGs.

The $25 million in donations appears to be the second-largest cash injection Trump has seen since April, when the former president raised $50.5 million at his largest ever fundraiser in Florida.
Prior to Bailey’s confirmation, U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) predicted to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett the haul would be an “eye-popping” sum.
Trump also delivered the keynote speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference, and pledged his administration would resist any efforts to create a central bank digital currency in the United States.
“I will ensure that the future of crypto and the future of Bitcoin will be made in the USA, not driven overseas,” said Trump.
The former president lauded Bitcoin, declaring the cryptocurrency “is not just a marvel of technology but a miracle of cooperation and human achievement,” and could one day “surpass the market cap of gold.”
He declared, “If Bitcoin is going to the Moon – as we say – I want America to be the nation that leads the way.”
Trump previously promised to protect the interests of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency owners in an Agenda 47 policy video published in May.
The former president previously vowed, “To the nation’s 50 million crypto holders, I say this: with your vote, I will keep Elizabeth Warren and her goons away from your Bitcoin. And I will never allow the creation of a central bank digital currency.”
Bailey’s Bitcoin 2024 conference was held at Music City Center, just a short walk away from the Tennessee Democratic Party’s annual Three Star Fundraiser, where Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell labeled Trump a “threat to democracy” and joked about securing the area around the conference.
