The “Wall-A-Thon” began Monday with We Build the Wall’s Brian Kolfage and Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, KTSM reported.

Kolfage told the TV station there are other projects in various stages of work.

“We’re just taking it literally one at a time but right now there’s three that we have in our pipeline that we’re working on and they’re in Texas and New Mexico right now,” said Kolfage, noting that they hope to raise $1 million by the end of the fundraiser. We Build the Wall’s GoFundMe for the border wall is now the largest in history.

“We are officially the largest GoFundMe.com Fundraiser in history! All Donations made here will be added to our official GoFundMe tally,” the group says on its website.

The GoFundMe tally as of Tuesday evening was more than $24.65 million.

Battleground State News on June 18 reported on We Build the Wall’s effort to become the largest GoFundMe effort in history.

We Build the Wall is on the verge of becoming GoFundMe’s largest ever fundraising campaign, founder Brian Kolfage says.

Kolfage made the announcement Monday in a press release. He said the record belongs to TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund which is a major force in the “MeToo” movement.

TIME’S UP’s GoFundMe page, which is closed to donations, says it raised $24,206,200 of its $24.5 million goal. That page was created on Dec. 20, 2017. The last update was in December 2018.

As of Monday evening, We Build the Wall’s GoFundMe page had raised $24,066,879.
