Organizers of the Women’s March on Washington — the same group that donned pink “pussy” hats in a Washington, D.C. protest march following President Donald Trump’s inauguration — have a new mission.
This time, their target is guns — and their aim is stringent new gun control legislation in this country. The Women’s March Youth EMPOWER group is asking students, teachers, parents, administrators, and “allies” to walk out of school on Wednesday, March 14.
Do what Reagan did to the air traffic controllers when they went out on strike – fire every teacher, school administrator and support staffer that walks off the job.
A public effort to wrongfully call attention to gun ownership. 99.99% of all legal gun owners pose no threat to the public.
(1)Police had been called to the Cruz residence 36
times from 2010 to 2017 but yet no arrests?
(2)Law enforcement was made aware of the shooters
threat AND name 6 months prior to the shooting and
did nothing.
(3)Fl Child services evaluated Cruz and stated he was
not a threat to himself or any one else.
(4)“This kid exhibited every single known red flag, from killing animals to having a cache of weapons to disruptive behavior to saying he wanted to be a school shooter,” Mr. Finkelstein(public defender) said. “If this isn’t a person who should have gotten someone’s attention, I don’t know who is. This was a multi-system failure.”
Every red flag was ignored. Cruz would have never been able to own a gun had multiple agencies done their jobs correctly. Gun laws are not the blame here but lack of enforcement of current laws.
And of course the school has no blame. Where was the security guard? And why was an outside stairwell door unsecured?
Why does the liquor industry get a free pass? According to NIAAA 88,000 people die from alcohol every year. Alcohol kills more teenagers than all illegal drugs combined.
