The Biden Administration’s proposed budget for 2024 includes funding for genital mutilation surgeries and hormone treatments for veterans who think they are “transgender.”
As the Daily Caller reports, the budget proposal comes after the Department of Veterans Affairs was ordered to lift a 20-year ban on such transgender procedures in June of 2021, thus allowing such treatments to be covered by Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
“Recognizing the diversity of America’s veterans, the Administration is also taking action to advance equity across veterans’ services,” the budget proposal declares. “In addition to ending the ban on transgender service, the Administration is committed to providing gender affirming care to the Nation’s veterans — and last year, the VA announced that it was extending survivor benefits to certain survivors of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex veterans.”
However, there are almost no examples of “transgender” individuals currently serving in the military, thus making the proposal almost entirely useless. One of the most prominent examples is former Navy SEAL Chris Beck, a man who believed he was a woman and spent almost 10 years advocating for other so-called “trans” people to serve in the military. On December 1st, 2022, Beck announced that he was reverting back to living his life as a normal man.
Transgenderism is the debunked and scientifically impossible belief that there are more than two genders, and that any person can suddenly change their gender at any time. The transgender agenda has begun facing intense backlash for attempting to promote such treatments to minors, including public schools and other authorities that try to keep such grooming efforts secret from the childrens’ parents. Numerous states have since passed or proposed laws to ban such procedures for children, and have also taken aim at public displays of transgenderism towards children, such as drag shows.
