The Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) released on Monday the 52nd Edition of its annual Ratings of Congress, which shows all but one Tennessee Republican Congressional lawmaker receiving an award for conservative achievement.

CPAC’s report is based on a “compilation of over 20,000 votes cast by all 535 members of congress across the full spectrum of policy issues,” during last year’s legislative session analyzed by CPAC’s Center for Legislative Accountability.
The Tennessee lawmakers that received the CPAC Award for Conservative Excellence for Conservative Ratings of 90 percent or above include:
- Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), 94 percent
- Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), 93 percent
- Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN-02), 97 percent
- Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (R-TN-01), 94 percent
- Congressman John Rose (R-TN-06), 94 percent
- Congressman Mark Green (R-TN-07), 94 percent
The Tennessee lawmakers that received the CPAC Award for Conservative Achievement for Conservative Ratings of 80 percent to 89 percent include:
- Congressman Scott DesJarlais (R-TN-04), 88 percent
- Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN-08), 82 percent
Tennessee U.S. Representative Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN-03) was the sole Republican representing the Volunteer State that did not receive an award, as his CPAC rating for last year’s legislative session was 79 percent.
“Getting beyond what a politician says and looking at how they vote is a needed form of transparency. As America is engaged in an internal struggle for her very survival, talk is cheap,” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp said in a statement. “Conservatives are the leaders intellectually and organizationally in the push back against Big corporations, Big tech, Big Media, Big Unions and academia, and our ratings help separate the big talkers from the truly courageous.”
Congresswoman Harshbarger, who scored 94 percent on CPAC’s annual scorecard, said she was “honored” to have received one of the coalition’s highest recognitions.
I am honored to be regarded as of the most conservative members of Congress. I will always fight for our East Tennessee values in Washington!https://t.co/i51miUaGJ8

What a joke. The CPAC is oblivious to real data. Bill Hagerty is a Southern Democrat the way he leaches off of big corporations. Makes me sick to see how we the people keep getting lied to by the machine.
