EJ Haust, a digital marketing expert and official guest host of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show, said it is “willfully ignorant” for politicians and leaders on the Left to consciously fail to acknowledge and admit how illegal aliens are “invading” the U.S. and actively stealing from American citizens.
Haust, during Tuesday’s show, argued that many Democratic leaders are not genuinely committed to their positions supporting illegal immigration but are instead acting out of opposition to President Donald Trump.
She said she believes leaders like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-08) are aligning themselves with radical or violent elements within their political base out of fear or a lack of control.
“I think they’re just anti-Trump. I don’t think they actually believe half the things that they’re really freaking out about right now…These issues, though, where they are dividing the country – like we always talk about the 80/20 issues – I don’t think anybody in their right minds, certainly not the Democrats who are Hakeem Jeffries, for example, or even like Chris Murphy of Connecticut, who are trying to be leaders within the party, I don’t think they truly believe that the violence is the way to go, but they don’t know how to hold it back now either,” Haust explained.
Haust expressed frustration with the mainstream media for taking a liberal approach to the topic of illegal immigration by not disclosing immigration status in cases of illegal aliens committing crimes, suggesting that the media is part of a broader effort to cover up the dangers illegal immigration brings.
“It’s almost daily we’re hearing about a car accident or a murder, or how about the guy who was flame-throwing people in a park…What’s interesting is that nobody [in the media] ever follows up with those folks [that support illegal aliens] and asks what is the appropriate number of people that should be allowed to come into our country and draw off of our systems,” Haust said.
Haust accused politicians on the Left of hypocrisy, pointing out that they once argued policies should protect even a single life, yet now seem to tolerate crime and violence committed by illegal aliens.
“What happened to, ‘If it saves just one life?’ That used to be the mantra of the left with gun rights and everything else,” she said.
Haust concluded by stressing how illegal aliens are harming citizens not just by the crimes being committed, but also by draining public resources like schools, emergency services, and law enforcement.
“I’m so tired of calling them immigrants. They’re invaders. They’re coming to this country to steal from us. They are living off of our taxpayer money. They are stealing from our communities because our resources, our police officers, our fire departments, our schools are having to make up the difference. They are stealing from us,” Haust said.
“[Anybody who doesn’t see that] is willfully ignorant,” she added.
