The full official schedule for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice-President-elect JD Vance was released on Tuesday with events beginning Saturday, January 28 through Tuesday, January 21.
On Saturday, two events are scheduled to kick off the inauguration celebrations for Trump and Vance:
- The President’s Reception and Fireworks at Trump Sterling
- Cabinet Reception and Vice President’s Dinner
The day before Trump and Vance are officially sworn into office, the pair will make appearances at three events:
- Arlington National Cemetery Ceremony – Wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
- Make America Great Again Victory Rally – President Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks
- Candlelight Dinner – President Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks
On Monday, thirteen events are scheduled for the day as Trump and Vance will be officially sworn into office:
- St. John’s Church Service
- Tea at the White House
- Swearing-In Ceremony
- Farewell to the Former President and Vice President
- US Capitol Departure Ceremony
- The President’s Signing Room Ceremony
- JCCIC Congressional Luncheon
- The President’s Review of the Troops
- Presidential Parade
- Oval Office Signing Ceremony at The White House
- Commander in Chief Ball – President Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks
- Liberty Inaugural Ball – President Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks
- Starlight Ball – President Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks
One event, the National Prayer Service, is scheduled for Tuesday.
All times for the scheduled events, with the exception of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled to begin at noon EST on Monday, will be announced at a later date.
Monday’s Swearing-In Ceremony and Parade will be open to the public as general admission on the National Mall.

The 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s historic return to the White House and the American people’s decisive vote to Make America Great Again,” Trump Vance Inaugural Committee, Inc. Co-Chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler said in a statement.
Major broadcast networks – including ABC, CBS, CNN, CSPAN, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC and PBS – will air the inauguration live.
The White House will also stream the event live on its website at https://www.whitehouse.gov/live/.
