Greater numbers of Jewish voters living in Pennsylvania are reportedly planning to vote Republican in November, with former President Donald Trump seeing a double-digit increase in his support since 2020, according to a poll conducted by the Teach Coalition and Honan Strategy group and released by The New York Post on Wednesday.

Pollsters reported that Vice President Kamala Harris was ahead with Jewish voters in Pennsylvania, with 49 percent of their vote. However, they found that the former president was within the single digits of the Democratic nominee, with Trump receiving the support of 42 percent of Pennsylvania’s Jewish voters.

Exit polls from the 2020 election showed that about 4 percent of Pennsylvania voters identified as Jewish. The Post reported that Biden received the support of 68 percent of those voters in 2020, while Trump received the vote of just 30 percent, indicating the former president’s support may have risen by double digits.

The Post also reported that 56 percent of Jewish voters in Pennsylvania said they are more likely to vote after Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli civilians on October 7 and that 76 percent say the presidential election is important.

While Harris is reportedly losing support among Jewish voters in Pennsylvania, other polling simultaneously suggests Muslim voters are abandoning her nationwide.

The Center for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), designated a terrorist group by the United Arab Emirates in 2014, published a poll earlier this month that claimed Harris’ support among American Muslims has fallen to 29.4 percent, while Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party has the support of 29.1 percent.

Support for Trump remained low within the demographic, with the former president receiving the support of 11.2 percent, while Dr. Cornel West had the support of 4.2 percent, and 16.5 percent remained undecided.

Republicans previously speculated Harris selected Governor Tim Walz as her vice presidential running mate over Governor Josh Shapiro due to concerns over his Jewish religion. Dave McCormick, the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate nominee, stated it is “hard to imagine” the governor’s support for Israel and faith “didn’t somehow factor into the decision” to pick Walz.

Pennsylvania U.S. House candidate Alfe Goodwin similarly told The Pennsylvania Daily Star the Harris campaign likely thought selecting Shapiro would depress the turnout in Michigan.

The RealClearPolling average of surveys shows the race between Trump and Harris tied, with six of the last seven polls tracked by the aggregator showing the race tied or Trump narrowly ahead.

Trump and Harris are not the only candidates with tight races in the Keystone State. In a poll published last week, Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) was found to be tied with McCormick.
