President-elect Donald Trump announced last week he is appointing Fox News on-air contributor Tammy Bruce to serve in his incoming administration as spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State.
Bruce would work closely with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), who Trump announced in November that he was his choice for secretary of state.
Trump cited Bruce’s decades-long career in media, both in talk radio and television and transition from being a “liberal activist” in the 1990s to “one of the strongest Conservative voices” as qualifying factors in her appointment to serve as State Department spokesperson.
“Tammy is a highly respected political analyst who understood the power and importance of ‘MAGA’ early on. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at the University of Southern California and, after being a liberal activist in the 1990s, saw the lies and fraud of the Radical Left, and quickly became one of the strongest Conservative voices on Radio and Television,” Trump said.
“As one of the longest serving News Contributors, Tammy has brought TRUTH to the American People for over two decades. I know she will bring that same strength of conviction and fearless spirit to her new position as State Department Spokesperson,” Trump added.
Bruce, according to her biography, was a “lifelong Democrat” until she registered as unaffiliated in 2008. Before embracing conservative principles, Bruce worked on many different Democratic campaigns, including the 1992 Boxer and Feinstein senate races and the Clinton for President campaign.
In addition to her radio and news career, Bruce is also a New York Times best-selling author.
Bruce is not the only personality from the conservative media network Trump has chosen to serve in his incoming administration, as in November, the president-elect also nominated Fox News host and Army combat veteran Pete Hegseth to serve in his cabinet as Secretary of Defense.

Well, it seems that Mr. Trump has now been inclusive of the homosexual world once again. Surely he could come up with a better appointee.
