Rep. Paul Gosar on Friday joined two other House Republicans in supporting GOP Speaker Mike Johnson’s ouster.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a motion last month to vacate the speaker’s chair, and so far two other GOP lawmakers have joined the effort.

Rep. Thomas Massie, of Kentucky, was the second member and Gosar, of Arizona, is now the third.

Gosar’s announcement was made as more Democrats voted in favor of a Johnson-backed foreign aid package including Ukraine and Israel funding.

Johnson has advanced the measure amid threats of being ousted.

For those worried about “destroying” the Republican majority, or “giving Jeffries the Speakership”, please realize the Republicans have already destroyed their majority and, while Jeffries does not have the Speakership now, the Democrats seem to be controlling the agenda. The only this worse that a Jeffries Speakership would bring would be an effort to disqualify Trump from the Presidency.
It is a sad state of affairs when out of over 200 Republicans they cannot find a single leader who will stand firm to the priorities of the American people, and the matching priorities of the Republican Party.
Johnson is doing the Dem leadership bidding and he must go.
