House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday shared a website, dubbed “checkmydonation.com” on which Americans can check whether their name has been used for any political donations without their permission amid scrutiny of the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue.

House Republicans recently widened their probe into the ActBlue platform investigating whether four foreign adversaries – Iran, Russia, Venezuela, and China – have funneled money into Democratic Party campaigns in 2024, Just the News reported.

The lawmakers specifically demanded any Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) related to monies passing through Act Blue that were filed by U.S. financial institutions as part of their money-laundering monitoring activities.

“It has long been suspected that leading online Democratic Party fundraising platforms may be used in a fraudulent manner,” Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, wrote in a post to X.

“Examples are now being brought forward to show that small dollar donations have been made in the name of U.S. citizens who did NOT authorize or have any knowledge of the transactions,” he also said. “That is a crime.”

He linked to the website saying, “Now, you can search your information in the website below to see if YOUR name has been used without permission.”

ActBlue has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing but says it has been cooperating with ongoing investigations.

“Democratic and progressive campaigns have trusted ActBlue’s two-decade-long track record of innovation and dependability to deliver during big fundraising moments,” ActBlue said in a statement in June celebrating its 20th anniversary in business.
