The conservative nonprofit Americans for Prosperity (AFP) Action will spend $3.5 million to boost Republicans challenging vulnerable Democrats in the U.S. Senate, with Dave McCormick to benefit from the group’s spending in Pennsylvania.

According to The Daily Wire, who broke the news of the AFP Action advertising spend on Monday, the group will spend $3.5 million to target Senators Bob Casey (D-PA), Jon Tester (D-MT), and Sherrod Brown (D-OH).

Charles Koch and his late brother, David Koch, are the billionaire sons of Fred Koch, who founded Koch Industries, a multibillion-dollar holding company that is the second-largest private corporation in the United States. Known for their heavy funding of Republican candidates, the Koch network’s AFP Action signaled on Tuesday that it would endorseHaley’s campaign, calling her “a candidate who can turn the page and win.”

Koch-Backed Americans for Prosperity Indicates It Won’t Back Trump Again in 2024

The Americans for Prosperity Action, the campaign arm of billionaire Charles Koch, indicated Sunday it will not support former President Donald Trump’s reelection efforts. 

“So the best thing for the country would be to have a president in 2025 who represents a new chapter,” Americans for Prosperity CEO Emily Seidel said in a memo addressed to staff and activists at her agency. “AFP Action is prepared to support a candidate in the Republican presidential primary who can lead our country forward, and who can win.”
