Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced on Thursday that his office determined that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) violated state law for failing to comply with the Arizona Senate’s legislative subpoena related to the 2020 election audit.
Because of the findings, MCBOS must comply or Brnovich will notify the Arizona Treasurer to withhold Maricopa County’s state-shared funds as required under the law.

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann released a statement on Friday that confirmed former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett will continue to serve as the Senate’s Liason to the ongoing audit.

Wisconsin State Representative Janel Brandtjen (R-Menomonee Falls) pledged to conduct a full forensic audit of ballots cast in the state’s November 2020 election.
“I’ve traveled around our state as Chair of the Campaigns and Elections committee, voters have made it clear that they want a thorough, cyber-forensic examination of tabulators, ballot marking devices and other election equipment, which I will be helping facilitate on behalf of the committee as the chair,” Brandtjen, who serves as the head of the Wisconsin Assembly elections committee, said in a statement.
