Arizona’s Republican gubernatorial nominee spoke at the Arizona Young Republicans Engagement Forum along with former Hawaiian Representative and newly ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard, where the two discussed the hope they see in the future for the new Republican Party and Arizona.

“You know what; this new Republican Party is truly the party of we the people. We have the spirit of our founding fathers in this movement. I have no doubt about that,” Lake said. “I say that we are not just red-blooded Americans, we are red, white, and blue-blooded Americans, and we are ready to save Arizona.”

Blake Masters: A Red Wave Is Coming, No Matter What Polls Say

Arizona Republican Senate nominee Blake Masters sat down with Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake Saturday to ask each other questions leading up to the election, which Masters said will see a massive red wave no matter what polls say.

“When Democrats get these poll calls, I think they might not want to admit, ‘Oh, we’re planning on voting for Kari, we’re planning on voting for Blake,” Masters said. “Normal people, when they look around, how are things going? Do we like the wide-open southern border and the invasion in our country, and the fentanyl? Do we like the double-digit crime spikes in our cities? Do we like 13 percent inflation? No, we don’t. We’re going to vote for a change, and that’s why I still think you can safely disregard these polls, whether they’re good for us [Republicans] or bad for us. We’re going to have a red wave.”

Joe Biden Underwater with Crucial Constituency in Arizona, Per Polling

President Joe Biden won Arizona in the 2020 presidential election, with one category of voter putting him over the top.

After being in office for more than 14 months, Biden’s approval in the state has slipped. He has a 40% approval rating, while 55% disapprove of him, according to an Arizona Public Opinion Pulse poll conducted by OH Predictive Insights (OHPI).

Biden’s approval rating among independents, however, was even worse; just 34% of them approved of the job he is doing, while 59% disapproved. Of those, independents strongly disapprove of the most popular category; 41% strongly disapprove of the job Biden is doing in office.

Push to Reverse Arizona Election Reform Laws Fails to Make Ballot

Arizona Capitol

An effort to reverse three recently enacted election integrity laws has failed.

Petitioners couldn’t collect the required signatures to put three questions on the 2022 general election ballot regarding whether to reverse three laws passed by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed by Gov. Doug Ducey over the summer.

“We did not collect enough signatures to submit to the Secretary of State to stop SB1485, HB 2569 and SB 1819 by the deadline today, so the fight to protect voting rights will go on,” Arizona Deserves Better, who spearheaded the drive, said Tuesday.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich declared Friday he would take “all necessary actions” to investigate any irregularities uncovered by a state Senate-order audit of the November 2020 election in his state.

His comments on Twitter came as leaked copies of the draft audit flagged tens of thousands of ballots cast in the last election as suspect and requiring more investigation.

The drafts recommended the Republican attorney general take the lead investigating many of the issues, including a possible canvas of voters flagged as having problems.
