Crom’s Crommentary on the Biden Administration’s Negligent Response to Inflation, Supply Chain, and Oil Shortages

A massive ship getting pulled into the harbor

Live from Music Row Friday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio for another edition of Crom’s Commentary where he addresses the Biden administration’s lack of concern for real wages, inflation, supply chain, and oil shortages.

Leahy: Are you ready for today’s commentary? Crom? Do you think you are?

Carmichel: Yes.

Leahy: It’s a high standard now. Ladies and gentlemen, today’s commentary by Crom Carmichael.

Carmichael: Michael, as I have been looking at what’s been going on the last couple of days, actually, since I was here last, you look at the inflation numbers and you look at the wages and look at people’s wages.

And I’ve got a chart here in front of me this January through October. Real wages are up two of those months. Real wages are down, and they’re down significantly more in the down months than the up months eight times.

Yes, Every Kid

That’s how bad things are getting and they are accelerating. And then you listen to Pete Buttigieg, and the dishonesty coming from the administration that is so troubling, but not surprising. But look at what Buttigieg is doing.

He goes on TV, and he says the reason that we have a supply chain shortage from China is that the Chinese, because of the Trump administration, are holding back goods. That’s what they’re claiming. But then when he’s asked if they’re holding back goods, why are they 120 cargo ships sitting off the West Coast trying to unload goods from China?

And he says that’s because we have a union problem. We don’t have enough people who are in unions. Then you have Ron Klain, who actually gets up there, and he says that spending more money and passing more trillions of dollars of spending will reduce inflation.

Then you have Jennifer Granholm, who gets on TV and is asked, what can she do to increase the domestic production of oil to lower gasoline prices? And her reaction is to literally laugh out loud for about three or four seconds.

So what you have is a bunch of people who do know what they are doing, and they know that they are hurting as many of the Americans as they possibly can. And not only are they doing it, but they also want to do it more. And if this terrible bill passes that will increase spending by another $3 or $4 trillion, and it’ll do it more in the short term as the taxes are collected in the bill over 10 years. So it will accelerate the spending. But perhaps the worst thing that’s going on right now is that the Biden administration has put forward a Communist, a Marxist who believes that the old Soviet Union was a wonderful place to live because gender pay was equal. What she doesn’t bother to mention is that men and women were equally poor, but they were at least equal. And just because we had an election doesn’t mean the Democrats have learned anything.
