Pro-Palestine, Anti-Israel Demonstration Disguised as ‘Peace Rally’ Planned for Saturday in Nashville

Another pro-Palestine rally is scheduled to be held this weekend in downtown Nashville, the organization Nashville Youth for Palestine announced on social media.

On Saturday, December 9, the organization will hold a ‘Nashville for Humanity’ rally from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Centennial Park.

The group says Saturday’s rally is meant for the Nashville community to “stand together against oppression globally.”

“Nashville’s diverse community serves as a powerful force for change, and by standing together on December 9th, we can demonstrate our commitment to human rights for every person. Let us unite as human beings, transcending borders and differences, to advocate for a world where justice prevails,” Nashville Youth for Palestine wrote in an Instagram post. “We encourage all people to represent your unique backgrounds by wearing traditional clothes or bringing flags!”

“From Palestine to the Congo, peace is a human right,” the group’s post added.

Nashville Youth for Palestine was the lead organizer for the sixth-straight pro-Palestine, anti-Israel rally that took place in downtown Nashville on Saturday, November 18.

During that rally, protesters marched down West End chanting anti-Israel slogans including, “From the sea to the river, Palestine will live forever,” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

The organization also partnered with Jerusalem Reebar, a Palestinian-owned restaurant, for the rally, which donated 25 percent of all proceeds it generated during the event to Palestine.

Since the terrorist group Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel that left around 1,200 Israelis dead, pro-Palestine, anti-Israel protesters have taken place across the nation.

In the Volunteer State, at least seven organized pro-Palestine protests have unfolded in Nashville since the terrorist group’s attack on Israel. Protests have also taken place across the state, in cities including Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.

They can have their “protest”. They do NOT have to block traffic on any roads anywhere. MPD should arrest those who chose to block our streets.
