Recovering journalist and Nashville-area public affairs expert Clint Brewer said the different approaches taken by both presidential campaigns regarding media exposure stem from both parties’ candidates’ abilities when handling the media on a national scale.

Acknowledging how Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have had “selective” and “controlled” interactions with the media as opposed to former President Donald Trump and U.S. Senator JD Vance (R-OH) being widely available to the press, Brewer said both campaigns have to “play with what they’ve got” in regards to media exposure.

Recovering journalist and Nashville-area public policy expert Clint Brewer said the response from Tennesseans to help residents of East Tennessee who Hurricane Helene impacted is a testament to the Volunteer spirit.

On September 26 and September 27, flash flooding from Hurricane Helene devastated buildings and roads in East Tennessee, which has since left eight dead, according to the Tennessee Department of Health.

Recovering journalist and Nashville-area public policy expert Clint Brewer said former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign should amplify the story of Jamal Trulove and his connection to Vice President and Democratic Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris leading up to the November 5 general election to sway independent and Democratic voters.

Trulove was wrongfully convicted in 2010 on a first-degree murder charge in San Francisco during the time Harris was serving as San Francisco District Attorney.

Clint Brewer: Democrats Will Not Replace Biden via 25th Amendment

Recovering journalist and Nashville-area public policy expert Clint Brewer said it is unlikely that President Joe Biden will be pushed out of the presidency via the 25th Amendment or be replaced by another candidate on this year’s presidential ticket.

Last month, during a 90-minute televised debate hosted by CNN, Biden appeared absent-minded and confused, stumbling over his words and losing his train of thought multiple times.

Skrmetti joined Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares in filing the lawsuit against the NCAA last week, arguing the organization violates federal antitrust laws with its “anticompetitive restrictions on the ability of current and future student-athletes to benefit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL).”

There was a poll released a couple days ago by the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. And well, it’s interesting because when the polls and there are polls, this is a poll of 400 likely Davidson County voters. What’s the margin of error on a poll like that? Clint Brewer:  I think normally it’d be like four to five percent. Michael Patrick Leahy: Four to five percent. Got it. Okay. I mean, that’s a pretty small sample. Clint Brewer: It’s a sample size many would use for a city.  But still small. Michael Patrick Leahy: You’re quite right. If it were a state, you’d probably get minimum 700 for your sample size, or more. But with the city being smaller, it’s harder to get a good sample. So the margin error is four or five percent.
