Fani Willis Delivers ‘Letter to God’ from Pulpit of Baptist Church on Sunday, Defends Hiring of Nathan Wade and Suggests Critics Motivated by Racism

Embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis delivered what she called a “letter to God” on Sunday at Big Bethel Baptist Church in downtown Atlanta. The speech, which Willis delivered from the pulpit, represented the district attorney’s first remarks since she was accused of engaging in an inappropriate romantic relationship with private attorney Nathan Wade, who she appointed as a special prosecutor for her case against former President Donald Trump.

Willis did not mention Wade by name in her speech, but referred to him in remarks that seemed to suggest those questioning her alleged lover’s pay, or their alleged relationship, are committing acts of racism. She and the special prosecutor were accused last Monday of being romantically entangled in a legal filing by Michael Roman, who is a defendant in Willis’ case against former President Donald Trump.

“Dear God are you listening?” Willis launched, “Lord, your flawed, hard headed and imperfect child, I am a little confused. I appointed three special counsels, as is my right to do, paid them all the same hourly rate. They only attacked one.” She explained, “I hired one white woman… I hired one white man… and I hired one black man.”

Willis continued reading from her prepared remarks, “Oh Lord, they gonna be mad when I call them out on this nonsense.”

“First thing they say, ‘Oh she gonna play the race card right now.’ But no God, isn’t it them who play the race card, when they only question one?” She also suggested the “race card” is also used when critics suggest external oversight for her case against Trump, or as Willis phrased, “When they constantly think I need someone from some other jurisdiction, in some other state, to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?”

Wade has earned more than $650,000 while working for Willis’ office, and though Willis claimed other special prosecutors are paid the same rate, Roman’s legal filing from last week indicated Wade’s pay is the single largest outside expense for the Fulton County District Attorney’s office.

Attorney Mike Davis, of the Article III Project, noted on social media that additional allegations against Willis include claims she “took illegal kickbacks from her secret boyfriend and special prosecutor in the form of lavish domestic and international vacations.”

Willis also claimed Wade was previously hired by a Republican official in another county for twice the $250 hourly rate paid by Fulton County taxpayers, though she did not mention that Wade has never prosecuted a felony racketeering case before.

The district attorney mentioned race in her speech again, questioning, “Why is the White male Republican’s judgement good enough, but the Black female Democrat’s not?”

After comparing her circumstances to those faced by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. prior to his assassination, Willis began her conclusion by declaring, “You cannot expect Black women to be perfect and save the world,” before adding, “We need to be allowed to stumble. We need grace.”

Both a criminal referral and a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia were filed against Willis last week.

The filing which included the allegation Willis and Wade are dating also contained evidence that he met with Biden administration officials at least three times, and Wade since confirmed meeting with the January 6 Committee in response to the filing.

I believe democrat/liberal/progressive/socialists, a.k.a. the left, have had their bodies taken over by space aliens who are not able to engage in sexual activity. While in the human body they can, and abuse, sexual pleasure. how else can you explain the left’s deviant behavior? Homosexuality, gender mutilation, child pornography, drag queen story hour, and infidelity?
