Pro Golfer John Daly Says Former President Trump Is ‘One of the Greatest Human Beings’ He’s ‘Ever Met’

In episode 50 of his newest production, “The Tucker Carlson Encounter,” host Tucker Carlson interviewed professional golfer on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champion John Daly.

Daly said he learned how to golf when he was young through golf digest lessons released by professional golfer Jack Nicklaus and practicing on a baseball diamond close to his childhood home in Dardanelle, Arkansas.

“Do you ever think of yourself as the one guy who doesn’t seem like everybody else on tour?” Carlson asked Daly, known for his unorthodox approach to the sport.

“I kind of fit that mold. I didn’t really have a pot to piss in growing up… I learned how to play [golf] on a baseball field right down from our house,” Daly explained.

Pivoting to the current political climate, Daly revealed that most American golfers he’s played with have the same views as him in regards to voting Republican and being patriotic.

“I think all of us on the tours and everything, we all want daddy Trump back,” he said.

Yes, Every Kid

“He was a great president, he’s a great guy once you get to know him…He’s an unbelievably smart individual and people have to get behind him. We’ve got to do something,” Daly added. “All I know is I hope he wins. I’ll have his back till I die. He’s one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met…He only wants to help Americans, he doesn’t want anything out of it. And he wants to protect our country.”

“Tucker on X” was rebranded as “The Tucker Carlson Experience” this week as the former Fox News host announced the launch of his new streaming platform, the Tucker Carlson Network.

The streaming service costs $9/month and includes access to exclusive interviews and investigations conducted by Carlson, news commentaries, a “direct line to Tucker and his team,” exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and early access to tickets for future live events.

Access to both free ad-supported and paid premium video content is available on Carlson’s website, tuckercarlson.com. Non-subscriber video content will continue to be available on X.

“News coverage in the West has become a tool of repression. Reporters no longer reveal essential information to the public; they work to hide it. We plan to tell the truth about things that matter – clearly and without fear,” Carlson said in a statement regarding his streaming service.

Almost 1 million people have watched Daly’s interview with Carlson as of 5 p.m. Central Standard Time.
