Pop star Miley Cyrus held a free Pride Month-themed concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday – but only for vaccinated people. Less than 2,500 people were granted entry; no phones or cameras were allowed.
In order to get a free ticket, fans had to flash their vaccination cards as proof of immunization. Although those in line were likely vaccinated, several still wore masks. Local historian David Ewing documented pictures and video of fans standing in line waiting for their free tickets. It appears from the video that the line wrapped around the building and down Commerce Street.

According to bloggers in attendance, Cyrus called out the Tennessee legislature for passage of certain bills impacting the LGBTQ+ community. The Tennessee General Assembly passed several bills that Cyrus likely referenced, including: the prohibition of transgender individuals from competing in sports differing from their biological sex, the requirement of businesses to post signage informing the public that they allowed individuals to use any bathroom regardless of its designation, and a ban on prepubescent transgender hormone treatments.
Cyrus, who identifies as pansexual and gender fluid, revealed to her followers last March that she stopped attending church because her gay friends “weren’t being accepted.” This admission came out during a conversation with Haley Bieber on Cyrus’s Instagram TV weekday talk show, “Bright Minded.”
I was raised going to church as a believer, and that was a really important part of my life. And I kind of fell off that path a little bit because I think that I had a hard time finding a relationship with God that worked for me as an adult [….] What I think I just took away from you [Bieber] is, I’m allowed to decide what my relationship with spirituality is as an adult that doesn’t have to be aligned with the way that it was when I was brought up, because I was also brought up in a church in Tennessee at a time, you know, in the 90s, so it was a less accepting time. […] I had some gay friends in school, that the reason I kinda left my church is because they weren’t being accepted, they were being sent to conversion therapies. And, I had a really hard time with that, and I had a hard time with me finding my sexuality, too. So, I think that now you telling me that I’m allowed to redesign my relationship with God as an adult and make it how it feels most accepting to me, would make me feel so much less turned off by spirituality.
Cyrus’s special concert at the Ryman will stream starting June 25 on Peacock, under the title “Miley Cyrus: Stand by You.” The concert is one of three specials featuring Cyrus that Peacock will air.

Anyone who identifies themselves to be “pan sexual” or “gender fluid” ultimately and positively tells me they have know idea who God truly is. As a matter of fact, the only god they serve is undoubtedly the prince of darkness. Very sad to misuse her influence in such a depraved manner.
I concur that Miley undoubtedly needs shots and vaccines, but Covid vaccine isn’t the first one which came to mind.
I can’t imagine (well, actually I can) who would want to go hear her.
Cyrus is one messed up individual.
It’s not spirituality turning you off. It’s Christianity. It’s a shame that it doesn’t “work” for you as an adult. It’s also a shame that you are promoting a shot you don’t know anything about.
And I reiterate, “broad and wide is the way that leads to destruction, and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life few will find it”
God’s wrath is already being unleashed upon this nation people, but blindness wont allow the reprobate minds to see it. Right before God destroyed sodom and gomorrah, the men were trying to have sexual relations with the two Angel’s who were there to rescue Lot and his family. Their lusts for same sex relations had them still trying to get to the angels after they were struck with lost sight. Sounds a lot like today’s environment to me.
