Giffords Endorses Democrat in High-Profile Pennsylvania Gubernatorial Race

A far-left gun control group based in Arizona Thursday endorsed Pennsylvania’s Lieutenant Governor, who is also the state’s Democrat nominee for Governor in this year’s election. 

“For years, @JohnFetterman has been a powerful voice for Pennsylvanians who have lost their lives to gun violence, and I have no doubt that he will continue this fight in the Senate. I am proud to back Lt. Gov. Fetterman in his bid for US Senate,” Gabrielle Giffords said in a Thursday tweet.

Giffords Releases Endorsements of Anti-Second Amendment Incumbents in Swing Districts

A prominent gun rights group Wednesday endorsed 13 incumbent members of Congress who reside in districts that could flip towards Republicans in November. 

“Below are our latest U.S. House endorsements, and they represent candidates in some of the most competitive districts in the country,” Giffords said in a press release. “In order to continue making progress on this issue — investing in community violence intervention programs, funding gun violence research, closing domestic violence loopholes, passing universal background checks, and so much more — we must send these incumbent representatives back to Capitol Hill next January.”

Report: Trump to Attend Masters Fundraiser, Joins Arizona GOP Senate Primary Fight

President Donald J. Trump is expected to attend a November 10 fundraiser for Arizona Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters at the president’s Palm Springs, Florida, Mar-A-Largo resort, according to media reports.

Trump has not made an endorsement yet in the race, but the president’s attendance at the event hosted by billionaire Peter A. Thiel is a clear sign an endorsement is in the offering.

Masters is a Thiel protégé and the chief financial officer of the Thiel Capital, the German-born PayPal co-founder’s family investing vehicle.

Arizona Sen. Kelly Pressured to Recuse from Chipman Confirmation Vote

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) is facing calls to recuse himself from the confirmation process David Chipman, the controversial nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). 

According to Breitbart, a proclamation was issued against Kelly in the Arizona House of Representatives over a conflict of interest. It was first introduced by Rep. Quang Nguyen (R-District 1).
