Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger Says Biden ‘Dead Wrong’ About Georgia Election Integrity Law, Hice Says Bill Was Enacted Due to Raffensperger’s 2020 Failures

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, when speaking on The Brian Kilmeade Show, blasted President Joe Biden for previous comments about Georgia’s election integrity law.

Biden accused the state government of restricting access to vote with SB 202. However, the latest numbers show that a record number of individuals have voted early in the state’s primary elections.

“When we passed the election integrity act, President Biden came down to Georgia and he told everyone how good they did up North. Meanwhile, in Georgia, we added a day of early voting, we have record turnout. President Biden’s home state of Delaware has 10 days of early voting—we have 17. So far, we are at 540,000 people have voted early. We are probably going to see over 750,000 people vote before election day,” Raffensperger said.

“It is tremendous to see that Biden was just flat, dead wrong about Georgia’s election integrity act.”

While Raffensperger has touted the success of the new law, his main opponent Congressman Jody Hice (R-GA-10) contends that the Secretary of State had little input in the legislation.

“Brad Raffensperger has been telling anyone who will listen that he helped write SB 202. He was not the author of the bill, in fact, it was because of his failures it was written. While HB 202 was a step in the right direction, it didn’t go far enough. We MUST get rid of drop boxes. They’re an open invitation for fraud and they should be eliminated entirely. Also, Zuckerbucks, or money from ANY outside source, should be banned from interfering in our elections,” said Hice when asked by The Georgia Star News’ Pete D’Abrosca.

Furthermore, Hice contended many concerns are due to actions from Raffensperger.

Yes, Every Kid

“I am grateful the Georgia General Assembly stepped up and addressed many of the problems that Brad created.  But, in order to completely restore voter confidence, Brad Raffensperger needs to go.”
