On Nashville’s List of 49 COVID-19 Case Clusters, Four Percent of Cases Tied to Bars

Of the 2,619 cases accounted for on a list of 49 COVID-19 hotspots in Davidson County connected with 10 or more cases of COVID-19, 114 – or 4% – were tied to the six bars on the list.

The list of 49 case clusters in Nashville was released by Metro Public Health officials.

Dollar General Plans to Increase Hiring Efforts to Support Community and Customer Needs

Officials at the Goodlettsville-based Dollar General stores announced Monday that they will nearly double their normal hiring rate and add up to 50,000 employees by end of April.

This, during heightened demand for household essentials that the store offers during the outbreak of the coronavirus.
