Rutherford County Fire and Rescue officials reported Saturday that health and wellness expert Gwen Shamblin Lara was among seven people who perished when the small private aircraft they were in crashed into Percy Priest Lake outside of Nashville.
The accident took place shortly before 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Rutherford County Fire and Rescue officials said, when the Cessna Citation 501 carrying seven passengers crashed into Percy Priest Lake located just outside of Nashville. The New York Times reported the private jet was on its way to Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.
