Dr. Manny Sethi and Healthy Tennessee Holding Free Health Fair on Saturday

Dr. Manny Sethi, the Vanderbilt orthopedic trauma surgeon who ran to represent Tennessee in the U.S. Senate, is hosting a free health fair and food distribution on Saturday in Murfreesboro through his non-profit, Healthy Tennessee.

“This is our first health fair after the COVID epidemic, and we could not be more excited to get back to Tennessee communities and share better health practices with everyone. We have held dozens of health fairs, summits, statewide seminars and symposiums from one end of the state to the other for a decade. We are focused on meeting people where they are to provide health care solutions and options,” Sethi, who serves as the organization’s president, said in an emailed statement.

The event, which will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., will be held at Patterson Park Community Center, located at 521 Mercury Blvd. in Murfreesboro.

Attendees will have access to “dozens of doctors, nurses and healthy lifestyle companies” that will provide “free health screenings, educational information, healthy living products, and tools for all attendees to lead healthier lives” — according to a statement from Healthy Tennessee.

Over the course of the health fair, residents can take advantage of a host of activities including: on-site healthcare providers, health-focused giveaways, free health screenings, glucose screenings, well-child checks, and many other services.

“We are looking forward to this free health fair and food distribution this Saturday. Many in our community have been hit hard during Covid and this is an opportunity to not just get back to normal, but to make some healthy living life choices that benefit everyone,” said Patterson Park Superintendent Gernell Jenkins.

In addition to the health services, Healthy Tennessee is teaming up with Feed America First to offer a free food distribution to those in need.

Dr Manny, Please primary Mitch McConnell loving Marsha Blackburn. Blackburn has broken her promises to Tennesseans to support voter integrity with Ted Cruz. Blackburn continues to support never Trumper RINO/Warmonger Mitch McConnell as leader. Tennesseans overwhelmingly support President Trump not McConnell. Blackburn has been in Washington since 2003, What has she accomplished for Tennesseans? Broken promises! Retire Marsha!
