Tucker Carlson Sits Down with Ice Cube in Episode 11 of ‘Tucker on Twitter’

In the 11th episode of his newest production, “Tucker on Twitter,” former Fox News primetime host Tucker Carlson sat down with actor O’Shea Jackson, commonly known as Ice Cube, at his studio.

During the 22-minute interview released Wednesday evening, Carlson questioned the actor on various topics, with the first question being why exactly he chose to sit down for an interview with Carlson in the first place.

“I think it’s silly not to talk to people. I think – whether we agree or not, that has nothing to do with it – it’s like, this is what it’s all about. Let’s talk about it. Let’s debate. I’ve been shut out – some platforms would not have me on. They don’t like that I’m, you know, an independent thinker. I’m not part of the herd. I’m not part of the ‘go along to get along’ gang, so to speak. So, you know, I’m an outsider and so, you know, I’m not part of the club,” Ice Cube explained.

“So, I have to go places, for one that I’m welcome and where I can voice my opinion without somebody, you know, saying I’m a bad person and that they never want to have me on their platform again,” he added.

The actor said he’s been excluded and denied participation in talk shows, including The View and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

When Carlson noted that the actor doesn’t “even seem that political,” Ice Cube explained, “I’m pretty much, you know, sworn to do right by the people… I’m down to work with whoever’s down to do something right for the people.”

“We just got to talk – that’s the only way we’re going to work this out. I know that when the talking stops, the fighting starts. You know, a lot of people think I’m a Republican, a right-winger, just because I was willing to speak to the Trump Administration,” he added.

The actor also noted that he is willing to speak with the Biden Administration, but so far, only one person in the administration has reached out with, as the actor describes, a “take my temperature” kind of call.

When asked his overall thoughts on President Joe Biden, Ice Cube said, “I don’t think he’s given the people who put him in exactly what they thought they were going to get from him.”

Wednesday’s episode of ‘Tucker on Twitter’ came one day after Carlson interviewed Ice Cube while the pair was chauffeured through Los Angeles, as previously reported by The Star News Network.

As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 9:09 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, had 3.3 million views. The 11 episodes have been seen 506.6 million times on Twitter.
