After an story published Sunday by Just The News accusing Lynchburg Mayor Stephanie Reed of bullying constituents whom she believes have wronged her, well as employing the same tactics against members of the Lynchburg City Council, The Virginia Star has received similar allegations from more Lynchburg residents. 

Just The News reported that last November, Reed attempted to have Jacob Landrun, the son of Lynchburg GOP chair Veronica Bratton, fired from his job at Americans for Prosperity (AFP) for posting a meme to his personal Facebook page that was critical of her.

Comer Rejects Hunter Biden’s Testimony Demands, Accuses Legal Team of Bullying, Intimidation

House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer on Friday formally accused Hunter Biden’s team of of trying to “bully and intimidate” impeachment investigators as he formally rejected the presidential son’s demands to skip a transcribed interview with Congress and move straight to public testimony.

In a letter joined by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Comer told Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell that the first son must show up as required by his subpoena for a transcribed interview on Dec. 13 or face legal consequences.

New York Attorney General Sends Threatening Letter to Church Suggesting Their ‘ReAwaken America Tour’ Is ‘Extremist’ and ‘Racially Motivated’

A letter sent by New York Attorney General Letitia James to Cornerstone Church in Batavia, New York, threatened the church, in advance of its hosting a ReAwaken America Tour event this past weekend, with investigation and prosecution of “acts of violence, intimidation, threats, or harassment” toward others based on “a belief or perception” of characteristics including “race,” “national origin,” “gender,” and “sexual orientation.”“national origin,” “gender,” and “sexual orientation.”

“As New York’s top law enforcement officer, I have significant concerns that the ReAwaken America Tour’s upcoming event at the Cornerstone Church in Batavia, New York on August 12 and 13 could spur extremist or racially motivated violence,” James said in the letter sent to Clay Clark, organizer of the tour, and General Michael Flynn, who travels with it, in care of the church.

Consultants Are Raking in Millions Promoting Critical Race Theory in Schools, According to Conservative Advocacy Group

Diversity, equity and inclusion consultants are getting paid millions of dollars by public schools “to push divisive ideologies” to transform American schools “from institutions of education to places of woke indoctrination,” according to a conservative education advocacy group. 

Parents Defending Education (PDE) spent four months compiling data for its “Consultant Report Card” released Thursday, which investigates 543 public school districts and agencies across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
