September T-Bones & Politics Event Featuring FoxNews’ Judge Jeanine Pirro Adds Speakers and Gubernatorial Straw Poll

Former State Rep. Joe Carr announced on Tuesday that the 9th Annual T-Bones and Politics fundraiser he will be hosting in Rutherford County this September has added three additional speakers who will be joining featured speakerFox News host Jeanine Pirro.

Gubernatorial candidates Bill Lee and State Senator Mae Beavers (R-Mt. Juliet), along with Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN-04) will also be featured speakers at the event, which will “take place at The Shed at 4707 Lascassas Pike, Lascassas, TN 37085 on September 14 starting at 6 p.m,” according to a statement released by Carr.

“Because of the heightened interest in the 2018 Governor’s Race we will be conducting a straw poll. If you’re interested in serious politics, there is no more enjoyable event than T-Bones & Politics” Carr said.

“The fundraiser benefits JoePAC, a political action committee focused on supporting and electing conservative candidates to the Tennessee General Assembly,” Carr said in a statement.

“All of Tennessee’s announced gubernatorial candidates have been invited to speak at this year’s event,” the statement said. To date, only Lee and Beavers have confirmed their attendance. Two other announced gubernatorial candidates–Knoxville businessman Randy Boyd and Tennessee Speaker of the House Beth Harwell (R-Nashville)–have been invited.

Carr lost the 2016 Republican primary for the Sixth Congressional District to another candidate who is expected to announce soon, Rep. Diane Black (R-TN-06).

All three additional speakers expressed their appreciation for the invitation.

Yes, Every Kid

“I’m excited to talk red meat issues with true Tennessee conservatives at this year’s T-Bones and Politics dinner. Now more than ever, it’s crucial that conservatives stand and fight for our beliefs,” Rep. DesJarlais said in a statment.

“I am always supportive of Joe’s efforts to raise money to support conservatives and hope everyone will join us in our support,” Beavers, who has attended several T-Bones & Politics events in the past, said.

“I’m looking forward to an evening of fellowship on the farm and talking politics with fellow TN conservatives at T-Bones & Politics,” Lee, who will be attending his first T-Bones event said.

“This year’s T-Bones & Politics is going to be the biggest and best ever. We have already exceeded our goal of corporate sponsorships as well as those willing to be a table host. We are already making plans to expand the venue because of the demand for tickets,” Carr said in the statement released on Tuesday.
