Local Police Silent After FBI Kills Tennessee Man in His Home

The Henderson Police Department (HPD) provided no update when asked Monday by The Tennessee Star about the August 16 killing of a local man at the hands of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Star’s inquiries went unreturned in the case of Theodore Deschler, who was killed after the FBI raided his home. HPD did not mention the incident on its Facebook page at all. Neither did the official Facebook page for Chester County, which is used by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

GatewayPundit’s Jim Hoft Teams Up with Missouri’s St. Louis Tea Party to Announce a Rally for Trump’s Border Wall

The St. Louis Tea Party is organizing a rally for Saturday in support of President Donald Trump as he continues to fight for the border wall. According to a press release, the rally was organized by the St. Louis Tea Party and the Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft. “Our president needs our support. Our president needs to know we stand with him,” Hoft said in a statement, encouraging St. Louis residents to attend the Saturday rally in Clayton, Missouri. “Let’s show our support for President Trump as he holds the line, and demand funding for the wall,” the St. Louis Tea Party said on Facebook. The news comes amid a contentious government shutdown over funding for Trump’s border wall, which now Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are unwilling to budge on after multiple conversations with the president. On Thursday, Trump made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room (his first) and was accompanied by members of ICE and Border Patrol. Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told the White House press corps that if they “interview Border Patrol agents, they will tell you that walls work.” “Anywhere that you…

Commentary: The Democrats’ Idea of Civility

by CHQ Staff   Democrats, such as CNN’s Don Lemon, have been labeling President Trump as “the divider-in-chief” practically since the day he defeated Hillary Clinton and won the presidency. Yet, it is Democrats who seem to revel in calls for more violence, more mob action and less civility. And we’re not talking about the usual college-age radicals in their fatigues, berets and Che Guevara shirts or the Soros-funded community organizers pulling down six figures while chanting “power to the people.” And we’re not talking about whack job Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters and her calls for Left wing mobs to “get in the face” of Republicans and Trump supporters. “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents,” Waters said during a rally outside LA’s Wilshire Federal Building. We’re talking about the leading elected officials and present and former Democratic presidential candidates. No one is…

GatewayPundit’s Jim Hoft to Start Alternative Press Dinner to Honor ‘Real News’ Journalists

Tennessee Star - Spirit of America Rally

Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft announced at Saturday’s Spirit of America Rally that he plans to start an event to rival the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Hoft is dubbing his event “The Real News Correspondents’ Dinner” and said it will be held at the end of April across town from the traditional mainstream event in Washington, D.C. Hoft’s announcement was greeted with hearty applause by pro-Trump supporters attending the Nashville rally. Because of his tense relationship with the media which he says has been unfair to him, President Trump has declined to attend this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Hoft, who began his well-known grassroots conservative blog 12 years ago and was a friend of Andrew Breitbart, recently was granted a White House press pass for Gateway Pundit, a move that angered leftists. He said in his speech at Saturday’s rally that his White House correspondent has already had his speeches canceled at college campuses and had a reservation canceled with Airbnb because of his association with Gateway Pundit. “That’s what we’re dealing with folks,” Hoft said. “That’s the fascism.” He said such actions should alarm all fair-minded Americans, Republican and Democrat alike. In addition to speaking of his frustrations…

EXCLUSIVE: Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft to Speak at Nashville Spirit of America Rally Saturday, March 4

Jim Hoft

Nashville’s Spirit of America Rally organizers announced exclusively to The Tennessee Star that grassroots superstar Jim Hoft will appear at the event this Saturday, March 4th. “We are excited to announce that Jim Hoft of The Gateway Pundit will speak at the rally.  His organization has recently been granted White House press credentials to the dismay of the liberal main stream media,” Spirit of American organizer and founder of the Memphis Tea Party Mark Skoda said. “Jim has made a difference at his conservative news blog with over one million views per day during the election.  And as a new media leader, he is driving the left crazy,” he added. Jim Hoft stated, “I am really looking forward to speaking to the people of the Great State of Tennessee.  President Trump is off to a roaring start and I am proud to stand behind him today as he moves to Make America Great Again.  I plan on making a special announcement at Saturday’s rally!” Skoda noted that this confirmation of the March 4 event comes on the eighth anniversary of the first Tea Party rallies, which were held in fifty cities across the country on February 27, 2009. Those rallies were followed by…
