Dr. Carol M. Swain Commentary: Voter Deception and the Compromised Alabama Senate Race

by Dr. Carol M. Swain   If the left is accusing the right of something, you can be sure those charges are things the left themselves are either doing now or have done in the past. We see this in elections, where Democrats accuse Republicans of voter suppression, collusion with Russians, and efforts to disenfranchise U.S. voters. It’s all a sinister game. Again and again, the evidence suggests that Democrats are using rhetoric and accusations to distract from the shenanigans they are pulling. In 2017, voters in the deep red state of Alabama elected Democrat Doug Jones to the U.S. Senate over Republican Roy Moore by a margin of 1.5 percentage points, in a surprising upset. We now know of a massive deception perpetrated against Alabama voters. False Flags Dubbed Project Birmingham, the deception took the form of an elaborate “false flag” operation. Project Birmingham was one of two separate false-flag operations. The second was a Facebook operation dubbed “Dry Alabama.” It sought to give the impression that Southern Baptist teetotalers supported Moore. A false flag typically refers to a covert military-like action designed to deceive an enemy by attacking under the flag of a rival nation. The purpose of…

Liberal Billionaire Apologizes For Funding Russian Bot ‘False Flag,’ But Questions Remain Unanswered

Tennessee Star

by Chris White   Billionaire Reid Hoffman apologized Wednesday for funding an effort to dupe Alabama voters into believing Russian bots were fueling Republican Roy Moore’s failed senatorial bid. But he left crucial questions unanswered. His statement left several important facts about the so-called experiment unaddressed, including a detailed accounting of everyone involved in the caper, as well who crafted and executed the campaign. The effort was the subject of a closed-door presentation in Washington, D.C., to a group of liberal technology experts, The Washington Post reported, citing anonymous sources. “I find the tactics that have been recently reported highly disturbing,” Hoffman said in his statement. “For that reason, I am embarrassed by my failure to track AET — the organization I did support — more diligently as it made its own decisions to perhaps fund projects that I would reject.” The Hoffman-financed group allegedly used Facebook and Twitter to undermine support for Moore and boost Democrat Doug Jones, who narrowly won the race. Hoffman referred to a group he funded, American Engagement Technologies (AET), as being involved in the effort. He poured $750,000 into the organization, much of it going to the project, the report notes. Democratic operatives associated with the…

Roy Moore Defeated by Democrat Doug Jones in Alabama Senate Special Election Despite Help from Some Tennessee Christian Leaders

Liberal Democrat Doug Jones narrowly defeated conservative Republican Roy Moore in the U.S. Senate special election in Alabama on Tuesday by 1.5 percent, 49.9 percent to 48.4 percent, with 100 percent of the state’s precincts reporting. The 1.5 percent margin of victory for Jones was well above the five tenths of one percent margin which kicks in an automatic recount under Alabama law. In terms of raw vote total, Jones received 671,151 votes,  about 20,000 votes greater than the 650,436 votes cast for Moore. Write-in candidate Lee Busby received 22,819 votes, or 1.7 percent of the vote. Jones will now serve the remaining two years of former Sen. Jeff Sessions’ (R-AL) six year term. Sessions resigned his Senate seat when he was appointed Attorney General by President Trump. Jones’ victory lessens the already tight Republican majority in the Senate to 51 to 49 from its previous 52 to 48. “From the White House, Trump graciously tweeted his congratulations to Jones “on a hard-fought victory” — but added pointedly that ‘the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!’,” the Associated Press reported late Tuesday night. Politico attributed the Jones victory…

Bannon Stumps for Roy Moore, Telling Alabama, ‘They Want to Take Your Voice Away’

Dismissing sexual abuse allegations as a “setup” in Barnwell, Alabama, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon on Tuesday cast the accusations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore as a continuation of an Establishment conspiracy begun during the GOP primary. Bannon, who returned to his old job of running Breitbart News after leaving the White House, told a crowd of fired-up supporters that Moore prevailed against the Establishment’s hand-picked senator, Republican Luther Strange, despite getting outspent 16-1.

Lift the Vote Urges Alabama Christians to Vote in Special U.S. Senate Election Next Week

Lift the Vote, a non-partisan project of Power of Liberty, Inc. (a 501 c 4 based in Tennessee), is encouraging Alabama Christian voters to pray, discern and cast their votes next Tuesday in the special U.S. Senate election that pits liberal Democrat Doug Jones against conservative Republican Roy Moore, the organization said in a statement released on Wednesday. “Christians in Alabama need to pray, discern and vote on Tuesday. Vote for what you value, vote for issues you support, like protecting the life of unborn babies, securing religious liberty, and insuring that conservative Justices like Neil Gorsuch can be appointed and confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court,” said Dana Hunsinger Gill, Co-founder and National Co-Chair of Lift the Vote, in the statement. “When Christians don’t vote, as happened in ‘08 and ‘12, we silence our own voices and allow other voices to dictate the future of our nation and for our children,” she added. The statement continued: Lift the Vote is airing thirty second radio spots on seven Alabama talk and Christian radio stations in Montgomery, Huntsville, Gadsden, Cullman, and Birmingham over the next week. “I’m a Christian, I’m voting!” stickers are also being distributed in the state. In 2016…

Commentary: Kasich Republican Lee Busby Tries To Derail Judge Roy Moore

by ConservativeHQ.com Staff   We recently pointed out that the Republican establishment was living in a fantasy world in which, less than three weeks before the December 12 Alabama special election, a non-existent candidate would mount a write-in campaign to derail the impending election of Judge Roy Moore. And in a weird replay of the failed #NeverTrump phenomenon, a phony “centrist Republican” candidate has announced that indeed he is going to run as an “independent” write-in candidate. Our friend Sean Moran of Breitbart reports that Lee Busby, a retired Marine colonel and former aide to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, announced on Monday that he will launch a last-minute write-in campaign against Republican nominee Alabama Judge Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones. Bubsy, who retired from the Marine Corps in 2013, has also been an investment banker and defense contractor – in other words a prime example of the military – industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned against. Busby also admits he attended a fundraiser for Far-Left Democratic candidate Doug Jones, though he denies ever donating to the Democrat candidate reports Sean Moran. While the White House has indicated President Trump has no plans to campaign in Alabama…

Commentary: The Assassination of Roy Moore

by ConservativeHQ.com Staff   “I had nothing to do with this. This is a completely manufactured story meant to defraud this campaign. They’re losing. They’re 11 points behind. They don’t like my acknowledgment there is a God… They’re desperate. Sean, they’re simply desperate.” ~ Judge Roy Moore to Sean Hannity The political attacks on Judge Roy Moore – which are really more like assassination attempts – have brought the dirty tricks and smears of the Far Left to a new low. The totally unsupported charges that some 38 years ago, Moore, as a 32-year old adult, pursued some kind of a relationship with a 14-year old girl have all the hallmarks of a Leftwing political hit; a source closely tied to Democratic politicians, no physical evidence, no paper trail, and reporting by a rabidly anti-Republican, anti-Trump publication. Likewise, the allegations brought forward by serial Leftist litigator Gloria Allred lack any evidence, let alone proof. But these defamatory attacks are having two desired effects: First, it is driving Moore down in the polls; and, Second, it has manifested a new low in the disgusting cut and run by establishment Republicans, who wanted Moore defeated by any means possible in the Republican…

Conservative Roy Moore Leads Establishment’s Luther Strange by 10 in Alabama GOP Senate Runoff As Voters Go to the Polls

Conservative grassroots champion Judge Roy Moore leads establishment pick Senator Luther Strange (R-AL) in the Alabama U.S. Senate Republican primary runoff election by ten points in the Real Clear Politics average of polls as voters cast their ballots today in the Yellowhammer State. On Monday night, an all-star gallery of conservative grassroots leaders gathered in Fairhope, Alabama to lend their vocal support at a rally headlined by Moore on the eve of the election. Breitbart News Executive Chairman Steve Bannon, United Kingdom Brexit leader Nigel Farage, former head of the independent UKIP party, and Duck Dynasty reality TV star Phil Robertson all joined in to tell the enthusiastic crowd of Judge Moore’s supporters why they have endorsed the West Point graduate and man who championed the Ten Commandments in today’s election to select the Republican nominee who will take on Democrat Doug Jones in the December 12 general election. The winner of that election will be seated in the United States Senate as the replacement for former Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), now Attorney General. You can watch the complete video recording of that rally here:   One regular reader of The Tennessee Star made the trek down to Fairhope on…

Commentary: Richard Viguerie Endorses Judge Roy Moore in Alabama GOP Senate Primary

by Richard Viguerie, ConservativeHQ.com Chairman   The most powerful slogan in American politics is the simple phrase, “Send them a message.” As the Alabama Republican Senate runoff approaches conservatives can send the Republican establishment an unmistakable message by supporting and voting for Judge Roy Moore for Senate. To “send them a message” is why I urge all my friends and CHQ readers in Alabama to vote for Roy Moore in the September 26 runoff election. If you don’t live in Alabama you can still “send them a message” by contributing to Judge Roy Moore’s campaign through this link. I think it is safe to say that most conservatives wish they had a Roy Moore running in their Republican Senate or Congressional primary, so they could send Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan the message that Alabama’s conservative voters are sending through Roy Moore. But Judge Roy Moore is more than a protest candidate. Through our association in various conservative organizations I have been acquainted with Judge Moore for many years and I can say without hesitation that he’s the real deal; a Bible-believing Christian who lives the values he espouses and who has shown time and again that he can’t be…
