The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday, in a unanimous decision, limited the judicial authority of courts to block infrastructure projects over environmental concerns.

The case, Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County, relates to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the requirement that infrastructure projects supported by the federal government have environmental impact statements, Fox News reported.

President Trump Calls for a Halt on Nationwide Injunctions

On Thursday, President Donald Trump called for the Supreme Court to issue a ruling ordering that no further nationwide injunctions may be issued by single judges against his policies and actions.

As The Hill reports, President Trump posted a statement on Truth Social declaring that “Unlawful Nationwide Injunctions by Radical Left Judges could very well lead to the destruction of our Country!”
