Inflation Rises Again in March, but at Slower Pace

Inflation rose again in March, but at a slower pace than previous months, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics latest consumer pricing data shows.

The Consumer Price Index rose 0.1% in March, contributing to a 5% rise over the last 12 months, about double what economists say is a healthy inflation rate. Price changes varied by the respective good and service.

Antifa Vandalizes Businesses, Blocks Traffic During Lake Street March

Far-left Antifa radicals vandalized businesses and blocked traffic with barricades during a two-hour march down Lake Street in Minneapolis Friday night.

The march was infiltrated by independent photojournalist Rebecca Brannon, who said that Antifa-affiliated accounts had been posting about the “direct action” all week.

Brannon reports that a helicopter was circling overhead the entire time, but no police ever showed up during the two-hour occupation.

More than 172,000 migrants were encountered at the southern border in March, according to Customs and Border Protection.

Officials apprehended nearly 19,000 unaccompanied migrant minors, around 53,600 family units and over 99,000 single adults, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Encounters were up 71% in March from February.
