Pamela Furr to Serve as Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee Grassroots Director

Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee (AFP-TN) announced Monday it has tapped Pamela Furr to serve as the organization’s grassroots director for Middle Tennessee.

“Furr joins AFP-TN with vast experience in radio and broadcast journalism having spent nine years on talk radio in Nashville. Additionally, she has freelanced for nationally syndicated networks including Fox News Radio and ABC News Radio,” AFP-TN wrote in a press release.

AFP-TN is a conservative political advocacy group that advocates for policy reforms at local, state and federal levels.

“I am excited to join AFP-TN and continue being involved in this community,” Furr said in a statement. “As someone who has been involved in talk radio, I know the issues that are important to Tennesseans and I am passionate about joining an organization dedicated to spurring economic growth, limiting excessive government overreach, and prioritizing policies that will reignite the American Dream for all Tennesseans.”

Last month, the organization’s Tennessee chapter attended AFP’s annual Capitol Conference in Washington D.C.

AFP-TN State Director Tori Venable and Deputy Director Michael Lotfi met with members of the the Tennessee delegation to “discuss solutions to fix the disjointed budget process, spur economic growth, provide Tennesseans with real healthcare solutions, resolve the border crisis, and ensure AFP’s other priorities have broad visibility and support.”

AFP-TN met with the following lawmakers in the Tennessee delegation while in D.C.:
