Mayor Pete Would Increase Refugee Influx by 511 Percent If He Becomes President Pete

Mayor Pete says he would inundate America with at least 110,000 refugees a year if he were to become President Pete, an increase of 511 percent.

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, mayor of South Bend, Indiana, made the remark in a Q&A interview on human rights with Amnesty International. The full interview is available here.

Going from the current limit of 18,000 annually to 110,000 annually would represent a 511 percent increase.

One question was, “What role should U.S. refugee admissions play in our response to the global refugee crisis?”

His response was:

The world is facing the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Instead of providing leadership, the Trump administration has abdicated its responsibility. We need to restore our place as a global leader in refugee resettlement. I would return to the 110,000 admissions target last proposed by the Obama administration and would be open to going beyond that number. Far from being “full”, many communities like my own have actually lost population and would welcome more immigrants and refugees. It is not only the right thing to do, but in our interest, as it would help grow our tax base and plug labor gaps as Americans age.

I also recognize that while the U.S. can play a far bigger resettlement role itself, we must at the same time encourage our allies to also resettle more refugees. Even still, this crisis is too large to resettle every refugee. I will work with states on the frontlines of displacement crises to provide incentives to move refugees out of camps and integrate them into the labor market and broader society so that their protection is more durable and the host community can also benefit.

Buttigieg is not the only would-be Democratic president who would open the borders to a mass influx of refugees.

Mike Bloomberg wants to flood America with refugees by 694 percent, or 125,000 refugees each year, The Ohio Star reported.

Mayor Pete is more “Hope and Change” with no real world clue on how to achieve it! He has a pie in the sky dream of looking good by bringing more votes to the country. We cant pay the deficit now, we have starving Americans that need help let’s focus on America first!

They call him “Mayor” Pete to make him sound likeable. First of all he is NOT my mayor nor has he ever been. Secondly he is touted as a moderate but he has the same leftwing crazy agenda as Sanders and Warren. The only reason he can get away with being called a moderate is because he has not yet had the spotlight of truth shone upon him. Finally many people will start to wonder why his wife is never seen with him because he claims to be married. They will surely be in for a rude surprise when his “husband” shows up. And, yes, he is an Obama clone in many bad ways.

Pete B is A carbonless copy of Barry Obama! Look at all of the similarities:
    – he’s from a “protected class” (gay vs black) that protects him from ANY scrutiny,
    – a whiz bang, carefully groomed, fresh-faced kid with a Harvard pedigree from the Midwest,
    – a nebulous past non-political career, consultant vs community organizer,
    – a lackluster, borderline pathetic pre Presidential run political career
    – a full of fluff, with no substance response to every question about their positions,
    – a vague, ill defined, feel good campaign slogan – “Freedom, Democracy, Security” vs “Hope and Change”

He is probably being groomed/manufactured by the same Deep State people who gave us eight years of BO. And we know how bad that smelled!

    Wow! What an idiot!
Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health professor Marc Lipsitch told the Wall Street Journal this week that “it is likely we’ll see a global pandemic” of the coronavirus with up to 70 percent of people infected worldwide.

“I think it is likely we’ll see a global pandemic,” Lipsitch claimed, adding that “If a pandemic happens, 40% to 70% of people world-wide are likely to be infected in the coming year.”

What proportion of those will be symptomatic, I can’t give a good number,” he continued.
Others have also predicted that the coronavirus could infect between 60 and 80 percent of the planet.

Outside of China, coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, and Australia, among others. Fifteen cases have been reported in the US, 15 in Australia, 14 in Germany, 11 in France, 9 in the UK, and 7 in Canada.

In an article for the New Scientist, Tuesday, reporters Michael Le Page and Debora MacKenzie wrote that “no one knows” whether the coronavirus “could infect 60 per cent of the world’s population and kill 1 in 100 of those infected – around 50 million people,” because “there are many things we still don’t know about the virus.”
