Williamson County Will Comply with Mass Deportation Order Under Potential Trump Presidency, Interim Sheriff Mark Elrod Says

Illegal Immigrants

Mark Elrod, who is currently serving as interim sheriff of Williamson County amid former Sheriff Dusty Rhoades’ retirement, said his department would assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in carrying out deportations of illegal immigrants under a potential Trump presidency beginning in 2025.

If elected, former President Donald Trump has said he would immediately mobilize ICE to deport illegal immigrants as part of his goal to carry out the “largest deportation operation” in the nation’s history.

Elrod said the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has a “good working relationship” with ICE and believes the department would continue working closely with the federal agency if a mass deportation operation is carried out.

“Over the years we have worked closely with ICE and other federal agencies on different things that have taken place in Williamson County. We have good working relationships with them and I think those working relationships would continue and we would assist where and how we could,” Elrod said during Tuesday’s episode of The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy.

“If they’re here illegally, we will support and work with ICE on that,” Elrod added.

Earlier this month, The Tennessee Star reported on a notice from last September by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) saying that a total of 573 “noncitizens” from Guatemala, Venezuela, Honduras, and Mexico intended on traveling to Franklin, Nashville, Davidson County, and Murfreesboro following their release from DHS custody.

Elrod said there have been rumors going around that illegal immigrants have been bussed into Williamson County; however, he said the department has not since been able to verify any of those reports.

“Over the last several weeks with the buses being cited or supposedly being cited in different places, dropping off immigrants, I think that’s been a big thing on people’s minds here in Williamson County. We’ve had some reports. We haven’t been able to confirm any of them.I think it was more of just a rumor floating around,” Elrod said.

Every conservative city should announce that they will help ICE – that will cause the illegals to migrate to the Sanctuary places like NY City and CA, where they will commit crimes, strain local services ,and cause tax increases, and some of those Dems will oppose Biden.

Great news! Sanity will finally return. The Sheriff will be busy given the many illegal aliens that have poured across the Southern Border. We support him all the way.
