RNC Sues Wisconsin City for Not Hiring Enough GOP Election Inspectors

The Republican National Committee has sued the city of Racine for failing to hire more Republican citizens as election inspectors during the partisan primaries and instead mostly selected volunteers unaffiliated with either of the two major political parties.

RNC Chairman Michael Whatley called the lawsuit a response to “Democrat interference” in a Tuesday press release. The release incorrectly claims the city of Racine “hir[ed] disproportionately more Democrats in the primary election” than Republicans.

Racine State Senator Files Ballot-Harvesting Complaint with Wisconsin Elections Commission

The Wisconsin Elections Commission is once again being asked to weigh in on who can return ballots.

Sen. Van Wanggaard, R-Racine, on Tuesday filed a ballot harvesting complaint with the Commission, claiming the city of Racine is allowing people to return ballots for other voters.

“The law has been clear for months – you must return your own ballot.” Wanggaard said. “Racine is intentionally ignoring the law. Not liking the law doesn’t make it okay. Hoping for a different Supreme Court ruling in a few months does not make it okay. The law is the law.”

Gableman Announces Cooperation from Wisconsin Cities in Election Investigation

Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman announced on Friday that there has been cooperation from subpoenaed Wisconsin cities in the ongoing election audit. “Following our recent issuance of subpoenas, we have received encouraging responses from most of the city officials involved, and we expect their full cooperation in scheduled interviews and the expected transfer of all related documents, data, and communications regarding their management of the 2020 election,” Gableman said.

Wisconsin Students Told They Could Not Wear ‘Trump Wall’ Shirts at Private School

Wisconsin high school students were told they could not wear “Trump Wall” shirts at their private school. As reported by CBS 58, “Students, parents and Latino advocacy groups are calling for action to be taken after a photo of students at Racine Lutheran High School with T-shirts that read ‘Trump’s Wall’ on them was circulated online.”
