Arizona Senate Candidates

Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is leading both Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ-03) and Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) in the 2024 Arizona U.S. Senate race, according to a new telephone and online survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports and The Bull Moose Project.

The survey of 1,001 likely Arizona voters shows Lake with a three-point lead (45 percent-42 percent) over Gallego in a head-to-head matchup.

In the matchup between Lake and Gallego, four percent of voters said they would not vote, and 8 percent remain undecided.

When Sinema, who has not yet announced if she intends to seek reelection, is added to the pool of candidates, Lake’s margin grows.

In a three-way race between Lake, Sinema, and Gallego, 37 percent of surveyed voters said they would vote for Lake, 33 percent said they would vote for Gallego, and 21 percent said they would vote for Sinema.

Meanwhile, 2 percent said they would not vote, and 7 percent remain undecided.

The survey also polled Arizona voters on the 2024 presidential election, which found former President Donald Trump with a 7-point lead (47 percent-40 percent) over incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden.

In the Republican U.S. Senate primary race, Lake holds a 29-point lead (55 percent-26 percent) over Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, while 7  percent intend to vote for another candidate while 12 percent remain undecided.

Lake’s leads in Wednesday’s poll came as she recently picked up notable endorsements for her Senate bid.

U.S. Senators JD Vance (R-OH) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) endorsed Lake’s campaign this week, joining U.S. Senators Steve Daines (R-MT), Rand Paul (R-KY), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Tom Cotton (R-AR), and John Barrasso (R-WY) who have also thrown their support behind the Trump-endorsed candidate.
