State Rep. Judd Matheny Rips Tennessee U.S. Sen. Bob Corker for Harsh Criticism of President Trump

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — State Rep. Judd Matheny (R-Tullahoma) on Friday said U.S. Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) was out of line in his recent harsh criticism of President Trump.

As a leading U.S. senator, Corker should know better than to undermine the president at a time when the country is facing tough challenges at home and abroad, Matheny said.

“You don’t speak like that about the president. You just don’t. He ought to be ashamed,” Matheny told The Tennessee Star at Legislative Plaza, where Matheny was receiving an award from the Center for Security Policy for his efforts to fight terrorism.

Corker told reporters in Chattanooga last week that “radical changes” are needed at the White House. He questioned Trump’s competence and his understanding of what has made the U.S. a great nation. Trump fired back on Friday with a tweet saying, “Strange statement by Bob Corker considering that he is constantly asking me whether or not he should run again in ’18. Tennessee not happy!”

Trump has been bombarded with criticism from the mainstream media, the left and establishment Republicans like Corker in the wake of his comments blaming both sides for the recent violent clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, between white supremacists and radical leftists. Critics say his remarks indirectly supported white supremacy.

Corker, who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has been critical of Trump in the past, but his remarks last week were his strongest to date. Corker has not said whether he will seek a third term in 2018, but a Tennessee Star Poll shows he’s vulnerable.

Matheny, who is running for Congress, said he has met many conservatives across the state who are frustrated with Corker’s “general lack of leadership in support of the president.”

“Trump is the right man for the times,” Matheny said. “We need to get behind him.”

Matheny is making a bid for the Republican nomination for the 6th Congressional District seat being vacated by Republican Rep. Diane Black, who is running for governor.

  1. And Matheny voting for an Article V Constitutional Convention, looks like no one is looking good.

  2. Crooked Haslam

Tennessee’s Establishment-trio Haslam/Pilot Flying J (new fraud allegations against USPS) have had a death grip on Tennessee and it’s media voice for many years. If you will notice Tennessee newspapers and broadcast news will report damning stories then spin into positive news or wont report at all. Haslams are only 2nd in wealth of politicians to Donald Trump. Take into account the tens of Billions $52B) in annual revenues combined with control over billions of state grants handed down by the federal government what is left? The answer is control over federal and state laws & how they are enforced or not enforced. It is fairly easy with all the personal and government money to control the state level but not so much at the federal level. This is where Corker and Alexander in the senate come in. When you control the every actions and decisions of 2% of the Senate it is not hard to make a major impact. combine that with 2% from other Establishment controlled (corporate or Lobbyist) it become easy to see how a well oiled machine starts to create a take-over and even as we are seeing a possible coupe stripping elections from the people like a third-world government. Add the take-over of media control (Google Operation Mockingbird/CIA) and you now have full control over the voice of the voter and their elected officials. regress of government. Simply put; no voice to create interest or organization/protest. This is why president Trump wisely refuses to give up Tweeting. That is also why the Establishment media and intelligence cant stand him having it. Notice who they never said a word about Obama and Twitter? My good friend and state Senator & Judge made the comment that all politics starts locally. I would argue those associated to those local politicians are just as important if not more important to the security of our national security interests.

Let’s go back to the media in Tennessee. If you have watched closely stories about Gov Bill Haslam’s private business Pilot Flying J you start to notice a pattern. The local newspapers report the story then the other media picks up the story. We all know the local media is in the tank for Pilot Flying J. After all they pump hundreds of millions into the media and rumor has it many kickbacks are paid as well. Some might argue they do report the story and they would be right. What most don’t realize is that they have to report the initial story to appear unbiased, relative and be able to stay in control of the message which they will later slowly but surly alter/change or manipulate to create the desired end result. This is referred to as the power of the mic/press. Next to money it is the most powerful tool a crooked person, business, organization or political party can have. Welcome to the control of the Establishment at the local level.

Here is one example and what you can do about it.Copy and past the following into your social media. We have to bring attention to the possibility that Pilot Flying J ripped off the United States Postal Service in their trucking rebate fraud. This could spell the end of the Haslams and their strangle hold on Anti-Trump Gov Haslam controls TN media Please retweet this story about criminal family business http://bit.ly/2wUaVmW
