The Nashville Office of Emergency Management is urging Tennesseans to take precautions during this week due to forecast extreme heat. According to the office, high temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 90s with heat indexes of more than 100 degrees for multiple days this upcoming week.

ParkConneCT to Offer Free Fares to Beaches, State Parks This Summer
Fare-free and additional bus services will once again be offered in Connecticut this summer, Gov. Ned Lamont said.
The governor announced the ParkConneCT program, a pilot program last summer, will provide no fare shuttle and enhanced transit services to state parks and beaches. The program opens Saturday and runs through Labor Day weekend.
