The AWOL Democrats are PATRIOTS by standing up to rightwing totalitarian Republicans who want to deprive EVERYBODY of their God-given rights and duties to vote as citizens in a republic should. I wish Tennessee had enough politicians of either party to stand up to such reactionaries in Tennessee. Tennessee is a state that I used to respect and admire. But that state is now dying due to the failure of the “nice” people to stand up to the bigots and miltarists that control my former home state. Tennessee is ALMOST dead!
