Rumors are swirling that Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. plans to drop out of the race as early as this week and endorse Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Kennedy’s running mate Nicole Shanahan confirmed that the remarkable development is on the table during an interview Tuesday with filmmaker and entrepreneur Tom Bilyeu on his podcast “Impact Theory.”

Liberals, Pro-Dem Groups Fret That Third-Party ‘No Labels’ Ticket Could Hand 2024 Election to Trump

Liberal and groups aligned with the Democratic Party fear that a centrist organization’s third-party ticket could erode support for President Joe Biden in 2024, and hand the White House to former President Donald Trump, according to The Wall Street Journal.

No Labels is planning on running a third-party candidate in 2024 in the event that there’s a rematch between Biden and Trump, whom the group believes each represent the most extreme ends of their respective parties. Liberal and/or pro-Democrat groups, like the Lincoln Project, MoveOn and Third Way, have voiced their concerns over the centrist organization’s electoral path, according to the WSJ.

Third Party ‘No Labels’ Qualifies for Arizona 2024 Ballot, Causing Dems to Fret

A third party has qualified for Arizona’s 2024 election ballot, spurring concern and pushback from Democrats who view it as a “spoiler” party that could potentially harm Democratic election prospects, according to the Hill.

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes announced Tuesday that the third party, the No Labels Party, has garnered enough signatures to appear on the ballot and qualify for federal and state races in the 2024  primaries and general election. Democratic think tank Third Way released a memo earlier in the day criticizing the party, stating that it would only serve as a spoiler for Arizona Democrats.

Third Parties Merge in Pennsylvania, with Candidacies Potentially Coming Soon

As three national political third parties proceed with a merger they announced last week, several independent state-legislative candidates are seeking approval to run under the Forward Party banner in Pennsylvania.

The expanding centrist political organization includes the Forward Party, founded by former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang; the Renew America Movement, founded by several former Republican public officials; and the Serve American Movement (SAM), currently led by former Republican Florida Congressman David Jolly. Yang and former Republican New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman will co-chair the newly consolidated party.

Commentary: Is an Alliance Possible Between the Conservatives and the Libertarians?

In a recent column, I argued that libertarians should stop supporting third-party candidates and join our side in an effort to stand up to the Left. In response, writing for the Orange County Register and Reason, libertarian writer Steven Greenhut contended that although conservatives and libertarians have been allies on many issues in the past, “now we’re like residents of different planets.”
