President Donald Trump brought out CNN’s Scott Jennings during his 100-day rally speech in Michigan on Tuesday so he could rip on Democrats.

In celebration of his 100 days in office for his second term, Trump gathered with supporters just outside of Detroit to tout what he said were his administration’s accomplishments. While thanking members of his team and outspoken advocates, Trump called out Jennings.

“You know, we have a man here that I don’t know, but he’s defending me all the time on CNN, and he defends me really well. But he can’t go too far because if he goes too far he’ll get fired,” Trump teased. “I said, ‘You’re amazing. You can take it right to the edge.’ And he really does a good job.”

DCNF-logo“He’s not allowed to go any further. He would be off. You know, if he really went totally crazy — what you’d like to do — but I think he’s terrific. Scott Jennings. Where are you Scott? Come here Scott! This guy, really, I’ve watched him for years,” Trump added. “I don’t know, but he likes Trump.”

The crowd could be heard cheering. Jennings made his way to the stage.

“Oh, CNN,  this is the end of Scott. Oh, who cares? Don’t worry. We’ll take care of you Scott. Scott Jennings — really great!”

Jennings greeted the crowd.

“Michigan! We were flying in here today and I said, ‘Look at these farms. I got to get a farm in Michigan because when you own as many libs as I do you got to put a place to put them all. Thank you all very much!” Jennings said as the crowd cheered.

While on CNN’s “Laura Coates Live” on Monday, Jennings said immigration continues to be Trump’s “best issue,” despite the network’s recent poll showing a 54% disapproval rating on the issue.

After Jennings exited the stage, Trump went on to thank other advocates of his administration. Throughout his speech, the president touted what he said was his success on the shutdown of the southern border, the administration’s deportation efforts, the prospect of new trade deals, and other policies he vowed to fulfill during his campaign.
