Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. –  host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio the decreasing numbers of employment and the increasing number of COVID-19 deaths under a Biden administration compared to Trump’s.
(Joe Biden clip plays)
Leahy: Well, that’s the guy who is sitting in the Oval Office.
Carmichael: Yeah.
Leahy: The president of the United States legally but not legitimate in my view. What’s really happening in the country right now?
Carmichael: Well, here’s what’s interesting. Yesterday the election for the 22nd congressional district in New York was finally settled. It was contested since the election day. It was finally settled yesterday. They investigated. And after they investigated it ended up going all the way to the New York State Supreme Court telling the appropriate people to certify the election.
But there was a complete investigation because it was a Democrat who was trying to overturn the election results. The media was perfectly fine with the investigation continuing because the Republican was ahead the entire time and never relinquished the lead. It got to be a very small lead, but it was a lead. And so investigating that election.
Leahy: In one congressional district.
Carmichael: In one congressional district. But investigating an election for over three months was completely legitimate according to the left but not investigating a single state or a single precinct in the presidential election. Here are some other little tidbits here. In January 50,000 new jobs. That’s it. 50,000. There were hundreds of thousands of new jobs a month when Trump was president.
By the way, 60,000 people have died of COVID since Biden was inaugurated. 60,000 in three weeks. That’s at a pace of a million a year. Biden apparently is not responsible even though he is the president. 60,000. Trump has been taken off of all of the intelligence briefings. I don’t know if all of Trump’s people have been taken off of the intelligence briefings.
Biden has fired all but two of Trump’s U.S. attorneys. Executive orders. Here’s the thing that’s interesting about executive orders Michael. Executive orders take a process. There is a process to executive orders. They have to go through the Justice Department. How many executive orders did Biden sign on his very first day?
Leahy: I think he signed 20 some odd.
Carmichael: Oh, yeah, so that means that Trump’s Department of Justice was actually handling the executive orders of the incoming Biden administration even before it was the Department of Justice was Biden’s. The stock market continues to go up and I think that that’s directly related to the amount of money that’s being shoveled out the door by Congress. The money has to go somewhere.
But as I said earlier, immigration, and by the way, Fentanyl is manufactured in China. it is now being laced in a bunch of drugs that the people who are taking these drugs do not even know they’re taking a drug that includes Fentanyl. A lot of these college students who overdosed in college are overdosing because they think they’re taking a drug that helps them stay awake and study, and it actually has Fentanyl laced in it.
Leahy: Not a good thing.
Carmichael: No. And one of Trump’s last executive orders was he signed an executive order allowing any doctor to prescribe a particular pharmaceutical to people who were are opioid addicts. Biden reversed that. Only seven percent of physicians were certified to prescribe that drug. Only seven percent.
Trump opened it up so that more drug addicts could take advantage of a drug that would help them with their addiction. Biden reversed that order. So now we’re back to seven percent of doctors. And so what you have here is this desire no matter what Trump. I even heard a story, I don’t know if this is accurate, that Trump replaced the doorknobs in the White House with very very attractive doorknobs.
Leahy: Donald Trump did yes.
Carmichael: Is that true?
Leahy: I don’t know. It would fit what we know about Donald Trump.
Carmichael: Apparently the doorknobs were old and small and Trump said this is not presidential. So he replaced them with new and attractive doorknobs. Let’s check this. It would not surprise. But the word when I look at Biden and Harris and the Democrats, the word that comes to mind is a grifter.
Leahy: Let me just come back to a fact that you pointed out.
Carmichael: Not drifter.
Leahy: Yes. Grifter. Not the great 1950s music by The Drifters. You said 60,000 deaths since January 20. I’m looking right now for COVID I’m looking now at the facts from The New York Times on January 21. The first full day of the Biden Administration 4,100 deaths from COVID-19 that day.
Carmichel: Right. That’s what I’m saying.
Leahy: And then subsequently, it’s between 3,000 and 4,000 deaths a day until February 9. So your 20,000 times 3 is about 60,000. That’s why I said 60,000.
Leahy: And far higher than in any period that I can see under the Trump administration. It’s the highest ever.
Carmichael: Yes. So if it is true that Trump was responsible for the deaths while he was president, if that’s true, then it is also true that Biden is responsible for the deaths during his presidency.
Leahy: Bulletin for CNN. I don’t think they are going to report it.
Carmichael: No they won’t. Apparently now COVID is no longer a problem.
Leahy: COVID? What’s that?
Carmichael: Even though more people are dying than ever, COVID is not a problem.
Leahy: Officially not a problem. According to CNN, CNBC, MSNBC. That gang.
