Bowling Green Pregnancy Center Vandalized by Abortion Extremist Group

An abortion activist extremist group vandalized a free reproductive healthcare facility in Bowling Green, Ohio on Saturday threatening that “if abortions aren’t safe, you’re not either.”

This vandalism comes at a time when Ohio Pro-life advocates are working tirelessly to stop a proposed constitutional amendment that would legalize abortion throughout the state

HerChoice, also known as The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center (BGPC) discovered that the abortion activist extremist group “Jane’s Revenge” spray-painted graffiti on a plate glass window and an exterior brick wall of their building over the weekend.

The group wrote “fake clinic, fund abortion, abort God, Jane’s Revenge” over an approximate 6′ by 20′ area.

The group has vandalized hundreds of pro-life pregnancy centers throughout the nation after the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade in June 2022.

Jane’s Revenge is referred to as a “militant pro-abortion rights group” by the Counter Extremism Project, which keeps databases on extremist and terrorist organizations throughout the world. The organization also claims that Jane’s Revenge is responsible for numerous arson and acts of vandalism across the nation.

It is uncertain at this moment whether someone identifying themselves as a member of the organization has taken responsibility for the vandalism in Bowling Green.

According to Ohio Right to Life‘s Chief Executive Officer Peter Range, everyone in the nation regardless of their political views or stance on abortion should support organizations that help mothers.

“In the broader context, though, there have been well over 100 attacks against pro-life pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations since last year. Everyone in this state and nation, no matter their political affiliation or stance on abortion, should support centers and organizations that help mothers. I pray local officials, statewide elected members, and national leaders will all rise to the moment and speak out against these attacks to put an end to these senseless attacks once and for all,” Range said.

Range stated that within hours of BGPC discovering the vandalism a group of college students and local Knights of Columbus came to help clean up.

“A huge thank you should be given to the local Knights of Columbus council and the college students who came out to help the cleanup process immediately upon seeing the vandalism. They represent the Bowling Green community at its finest,” Range said.

According to Range, the attack on The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center will only strengthen the resolve to continue to help those in need.

“Those who work at the BGPC are some of the kindest, loving, and caring individuals you could ever meet. Knowing these individuals personally, this attack on their center will only strengthen their resolve to continue to love those in need,” Range said.

The BGPC offers all the baby and toddler items women require to care for their children, free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI testing, parenting workshops, and all of these services. They contribute $15 million worth of services to parents, dads, and newborns in need, working with over 180 pregnancy centers throughout the state of Ohio.
